It's what you would expect from a neighborhood Chinese place, but the food is really good. I LOVE Shrimp EggFoo Young, and there's is the best.
I ordered here because my mother used to always get food from here and she was VERY PICKY and CRITICAL about the food she ate. My 13yr old son said it was the best General Tso chicken he's had. I only had an egg roll which was pretty good.
Food is OK. Service is typical takeout. The wait is the issue. Whether you call ahead or not, your meal will not be prepared until you pay(fantastic strategy). And no you cannot pay over the phone or online, Cash only (greater strategy). Sooooo make sure you have a half hour to kill if you are placing a large order. Maybe they had issues in the past, if that's the case, set up another means of payment.
