“Definitely the best Pho joint in Philly. This is one of the Pho 75 mini-chain restaurants starting in DC & Northern VA area (7 corners). Solid broth, chewy noodles and loads of different cut of meats. Add-on prices are also reasonable ($2.5 for meatballs as an example). Service is just meh... but you don't come here for service....“

“Had a great meal and an even better experience at Mana – Modern Chinese. The standout of the evening was the Shiitake Bao — pillowy buns filled with perfectly seasoned shiitake mushrooms. I could easily eat a whole plate of these!
Next up was the Jade Harmony Fried Rice, a vibrant vegetarian dish wok-tossed with fresh mixed vegetables. It was flavorful, beautifully presented, and definitely another highlight.
For the main course, we shared the Clay Pot Braised Salmon — slow-braised in a soy-infused broth with ginger, scallions, Chinese broccoli, basil, and bell peppers. This dish was a favorite among my dinner companions, with the rich, aromatic broth complementing the salmon perfectly.
The only slight miss for me was the Forbidden Ribs. While the ribs themselves were tender and well-prepared, the sweet-sour balsamic soy glaze wasn’t quite to my taste — so that may just be personal preference so I don’t see as negative.
Overall, Mana delivers an elevated and creative take on modern Chinese cuisine. The service was top-notch, the staff attentive, and the atmosphere comfortable. I highly recommend visiting — and I’ll definitely be back!“

“I have ordered dinner delivery from here a few times. All of the food has been very tasty.
Sweet Water Noodles: I really enjoyed - they had a tasty chewy texture and flavorful sweet & spicy sauce.
Cucumber w Garlic Purée: very refreshing and tasty.
Chef Z’s Dumplings: high quality & flavorful.
Eggplant w Salted Egg Yolk: I loved this a lot and it balances out the spicy dishes.
Mala Dry Pot: wasn’t my cup of tea but was full of complex flavor that someone who enjoys that type of dish would enjoy.
Dan Dan Noodles: very tasty (keep in mind that the mild level of spicy is still spicy for most palates in this country) - the peanut flavor kept me coming back for more bites. Shredded Pork w Garlic Sauce: very flavorful and enjoyable as well - I gobbled it down.
Shredded Beef Burger w Green Ox Horn Pepper: very flavorful, but one of the buns was stale/too chewy/dry - weirdly the other bun was good.“

“This is a lovely dining experience! Delicious fresh fish sushi & sashimi, ramen is exceptional--I especially love the mushroom broth ramen while my husband usually orders the pork broth one. All noodles homemade. Good beer selection, wonderful green tea. We bring friends from out of town here whenever we can. The service is also excellent.“

“Took advantage of a Too Good to Go (get the app!) offer while on vacation in Philly. So glad I did. The pasta was perfect and the pesto absolutely ruined me for all other pestos. Seriously, I have contemplated the 3 hour drive for just that pesto. Super friendly staff as well!“

“The overall food and service is great. The person who attended was very kind and helpful. The food was great, we loved the soup and the chicken dish. By asking they can make it spicy and it definitely makes it great for some cold weather.
The best part of these meals are it’s a combo of veggies and meat so it just tastes great.
I would recommend this place and give it 5 star.“

“Absolutely amazing vegan tofu and noodle dish with Dan Dan sauce with a nutty tahini flavor and chili oil. Their descriptions are really helpful on the menu. Very glad to have them in south philly near us with so many vegan options and gluten free options on top of the regular menu that my husband chose from.“

“Got to the restaurant and we were seated immediately, given menus, and they seemed to sense as soon as we were ready to order, no waiting involved. The food was amazing! The broth of the beef noodle soup was so rich and hot, the cold sesame noodles were the right level of spicy and very chewy, and the Chinese hamburgers were fresh, warm, and crispy on the outside/soft on the inside (try adding chili oil!) Everything came out very quickly and fed our whole table for such great prices.“

“Cheap! This is a noodle factory, and you can see the staff making noodles in the back. They have a few prepared selections that they will heat up for you, including tasty BBQ pork buns. Most of the single serving options they have are about $2. You can also buy homemade Chinese desserts and pounds of fresh noodles.“

“The best dumplings I've ever had! They're so delicious you don't need sauce; you can't even tell they're vegan. I like the Spinach and Potatoes but my favorite is the Butternut Squash. I buy them frozen from Market at the Fareway to cook anytime. If you love dumplings, you need to try MoMos!“

“I rarely take the time to write reviews, but my experience with Jaedan at Honeygrow truly deserves recognition. From the moment I walked in, Jaedan greeted me with an energy that immediately stood out — warm, professional, and sincerely kind. It’s not often you encounter someone who clearly loves what they do and takes pride in making sure every guest leaves happy.
What impressed me most was how attentive and detail-oriented Jaedan was. He noticed I looked undecided about the menu and took a moment to walk me through some of the popular options, asking about my preferences and even suggesting small customizations to make my order perfect. It wasn’t just customer service — it was personalized care. You could tell Jaedan genuinely wanted me to enjoy the meal.
Throughout my visit, he managed to balance efficiency and friendliness perfectly. Even while handling multiple customers, Jaedan never seemed rushed or distracted. Every interaction — from placing my order to handing over my food — felt effortless and polished. He communicated clearly, smiled the entire time, and treated every person in line with the same level of patience and positivity.
When I received my order, everything was fresh, perfectly prepared, and beautifully packed. Jaedan even double-checked that I had everything I needed before I sat down. It’s small gestures like that which make such a big difference.
Beyond great service, there’s just something authentic and uplifting about Jaedan’s personality. You can tell he takes real pride in his work and cares about creating a good atmosphere — not only for the guests but also for his coworkers. It’s the kind of energy that transforms an ordinary lunch stop into a bright spot in your day.
If Honeygrow is lucky enough to have team members like Jaedan, it speaks volumes about their culture and leadership. Every restaurant needs a Jaedan — someone who turns customer service into an art form and makes people feel seen and valued.
Thank you, Jaedan, for your outstanding attitude, professionalism, and kindness. You’ve earned a lifelong customer and a lot of respect for the way you carry yourself. Keep shining — people like you make all the difference!“
“I had poke for gluten free meal and my wife had chicken noodle. Both meals were great. There were plenty of tables nearby. We will certainly come back to this place when we pass through the PHL airport.

“Phenomenal food and exceptional service at a reasonable price point.
Heng Feng is serving quite possibly the best dim sum in the city right now. The crab pork soup dumplings were some of the best I've ever had — juicy, flavorful, and with a wrapping that was juuuust thick enough to securely contain all of the delicious soupy filling. The crystal shrimp dumplings were surprisingly unique — there is a subtle sesame flavor to the wrap that I've never experienced with this dish, they also use whole shrimp for the filling. The garlic cucumber salad was everything I wanted it to be, and went so quickly that I forgot to get a picture of it. Oops!
After demolishing our dim sum spread we followed it up with the Shrimp Ho Fun, a perfectly prepared and incredibly well balanced thick noodle dish — delicious, no notes!
The only thing we had that wasn't super memorable from a flavor/texture standpoint was our dessert, the sweet custard buns. They weren't bad, just not the best I've had. That said they were 100% the most ADORABLE custard buns I've ever had!
Mentioned at the top but it bears repeating, the level of service was exceptional. Fine dining level, in fact. Given how great our overall experience was here it was shocking that this place wasn't more crowded on a Friday night at peak dinner hours. They must not have had a chance to grow a neighborhood following yet since it's fairly newly opened. Highly recommend getting in while it's still easy to grab a table!!!“

“Great wonton noodle soup house. Quintessential Chinatown experience. Wonton Soup still pre-Covid priced at $7.50/bowl. Extras inflated the cost but brought me back to lunches and its friends and family. Served with hot tea and appetizer plate of roast pork, duck, and crispy pork belly. Fed four of us at $80 with tip. Come in for a regular meal in Chinatown. No fancy experience but good home cooked meal.“

“We were visiting the China Town in Philadelphia and chose this place based on the existing reviews and our love for noodles. I was recommended to try Thai style spicy beef slice rice noodles and my choice did not disappoint. The meal was delicious and service kind and fast. We were able to get hot tea and iced water as our drink options. 5 stars overall!“
