Penn Cafe & Pizzeria

This is my last try. It's completely impossible to order a plain cheese pizza for pickup. They won't answer their phone (three different occasions) and the stupid app they make you use only has options for delivery. I hope they go out of business and are replaced by some place that answers the phone.

Awesome pizza place that serves delicious food and quick with your order and an added bonus is that they play anime on a big screen at this place. I enjoyed watching an episode of Dragon Ball Super with my sister and nephew while we ate.

Moved new to the area and always hard to find a go to spot. Tried the slices had to tell someone! Amazing!

First of all, they were very nice and professional. Second, I ordered 3 cheesesteaks from there and they were so good. I bought them for me and my nieces and the cook did such an awesome job on all 3. My nieces are normally picky, but they weren’t this time. They did such an amazing job. We’re definitely ordering from there again! ?

DO NOT BUY FOOD FROM THIS PIZZA PLACE. I ordered a pizza with 4 toppings on it: ground beef, pepperoni, onions, and green peppers. The delivery was quick, but they completely left out the pepperoni, even though they charged me for it. When I called them back, they put me on hold for 10 minutes, only to tell me that they were sorry. They said I could speak to the manager, but he isn't there right now. Don't buy food from them. Go somewhere where they can take an order correctly, and at lease attempt to compensate you if there is something wrong with your order.I would have given them zero stars if it would have let me.

The pizza was absolutely delicious!! You can tell the people running the place really care and put effort into every item! Definitely don't sleep on this place!

Great pizza and prices!They have plenty of good seating too.

I Love their food. My family ask me all the time to order when we get together, initially I had a discrepency with the owner over an issue that was out of his control. WE had a discussion and it went very well. He resolved the issue. They have the best Buffalo wings I have ever tasted and I am a Philadelphia native, mainly South Philly. Their Buffalo wing are phenomenal, just ask for extra sauce and you will never stop ordering them.

Do not order from this filthy place. I ordered a Pepperoni stromboli and they put in hamburger meat. I called they said pepperoni was too expensive for stromboli.also no sauce. They don't care because of the type of area they are in.very disrespectful to the community. Don't waist your money and time.

Penn Cafe and Pizzeria please be known this review is Twofold. With the restaurant:Great food amazing flavor and best prices around. However! Your delivery needs some work. I ordered they the slice app. I asked to be contacted when the order left the restaurant and when it got to my place. The order specifically said please call when the driver arrived so I can meet him at the lobby since I live at an apartment complex. Not only I was not called, the order was left at the lobby with no call or text that the driver had arrived. My food almost got stolen by a homeless guy. Hence the reason I give it 4 instead of 5 stars. Please conduct an audit with the drivers you have and if you use a 3rd party account, please make sure they follow the instructions. Attached are screenshots of the “conversation” with Slice. Again when asked to provide a phone number it pushes you to an automated system that drops you with no answer. Hate to do this but the ball is in your court. I will also post this on their Google profile so don’t think I am just targeting you.

Food used to be great!! Now prices went up and everything tastes like SALT. STOP putting SALT on people food we can add our own. You giving your customers high blood pressure

Pizza was cold...paid for extra cheese clearly that means nothing... Was asked if I was paying cash or card! Cash, and driver had no change! So, I was bullied out of a 5 tip to a rude driver!!!!! To top this horrible experience off the pizza is very salty?

I am so so lucky to have this restaurant so close to me. Delicious food and great prices. Every order I've received from them has been great. especially like the burgers, cheese steak, and pizzas!
