Philadelphia Chutney Company

Delicious Indian food. It is hard to find good Indian food and Philadelphia Chutney Company has proved themselves to be worthy. There is another place in Center City called Veda or something like that which does not taste like an authentic Indian food. Indian food in US is expensive anyways so you want to get it from a place that is worth your money.

It's pretty good- I ordered take out a few days back for the regular dosa, lamb biryani and chicken tikka masala. The dosa was nice, airy, and crispy. The chicken was very flavorful and definitely delivered. I asked for the biryani to be spicy and boy did they deliver! That said, the biryani probably could've used a little more meat as there was only 4-5 chunks of lamb .. and I felt it wasn't as rich in flavor, just spicy. Tried this again after so long. We ordered delivery. One thing is...it is spicy!!! We got the chili chicken. My husband said it was so spicy I didn't even try it. It was so spicy for him but he said the flavors were good. We also got gobi Manchurian and it was ok. Spicy but ok. Too much breading on it in my opinion. Last, I got the fish tuna masala and that was really good and super flavorful! I would order this dish again!
