Late afternoon light bite and cocktail on the sidewalk in Rittenhouse on a nice Saturday in August was a good vibe. The seasonal salad was very good paired with the habanera margarita. Our server was friendly and energetic. We were checked on by other service people as well as her to make sure everything was good. I had not been to Rouge in about 20 years and was happy to return. A good time to go is around 4 if you want to sit outside just walking in. It was crowded during lunch...
We were lucky to snag a spot on the patio on a gorgeous day in August. Our waiter, Allan, was friendly and efficient. We had the carpaccio and the calamari. Both were delicious. We agreed some of the best calamari we’ve had in a while. It was seasoned well, the breading stayed on, and it wasn’t chewy. Well worth a visit.
Good spot for drinks and food. Ordered chicken cutlet and burger and they far exceeded and expectations I had. Service was nice and the best part is going for a walk in the park after you’ve eaten!
