Everyone is super friendly and their bagels are the best in Philly. Get there early for one fresh out of the oven…

A good Baget to start the day is in this place, recommended for all the family and friends, they also have a special variety and a delicious coffee. I assure you that you will return and you will not be able to start with the service of the Friendly and Fun staff.

These folks were good to me when I lived in the area. Food was great too.

Everyone has their own likes and dislikes when it comes to bagels and spreads. I had the pleasure of meeting and talking with Thomas and I happen to enjoy a conversation with pleasant people. My family likes bagels. Philly bagels has a very good whitefish spread. It’s not super oily and just tastes fresh and they do put a sell by date, which I happen to like. There is a variety of bagels and spreads. I do recommend you try their whitefish spread.

Did you take the chicken salad deluxe off the menu ?

A wide variety of very dense bagels, limited spreads, and poor customer service awaits you. The workers are rude and the food is not ever made as per instruction- NEVER. The employees are also always illegally taking up the one loading spot out front- all day, every day, which they don’t realize deters customers. What a horrible bunch of jerks.

10/10 bagels (also amazingly huge portions) and really wonderful staff, would definitely recommend the hot honey bagel with jalapeno cream cheese!

Sharp stomach pains and getting sick… I’ll pass on revisiting.

This pains me to write because this used to be my favorite bagel spot. I used to go to their multiple locations until I finally landed here as it looks like they make their bagels here. There seems to be an obvious issue with employee turnover. I can only imagine that they 1) are not properly paying their employees causing them to leave 2) don’t have a standard for training their employees because with this most recent turn over the construction of the sandwiches has been horrible. The last 4 times that I’ve come here I’ve ordered the same sandwich a lox special. I’ve either gotten a burnt bagel, little to no cream cheese, minimal lox, the wrong bagel, and to top it off I’m paying anywhere between $12 to $14 for the bagel. I can understand raising prices as food prices change but there is no reason I should be paying a higher price and receiving less on the bagel. Or I can understand someone’s first week, hence why I came back and gave it another go, but there’s no improvement. It’s unfortunate cause I really loved coming to this place, and this was my regular breakfast spot two to three times a week. Hopefully someone is actually reading these and can implement some changes.

Only one experience so take it with a grain of salt but the bagels were stale and the pork roll was luke warm, like it wasn’t cooked all the way through. Bagel quality is probably worse compared to Dunkin even. Cream cheese was ok.

Just had the chicken salad bagel and it was disgusting and dirty. They did not clean the lettuce, which was dirty and wilted, and I felt sand/dirt in my mouth when eating. Tomato was also gross af. Go to The Bagel Place instead!

I have been a loyal customer of this place for years, and now I’m moving away so I have to get 2 things off my chest.1. This is the best bagel in philly hands down. No other bagel comes close. When I lived next door I woke up early enough a couple of times to catch them right out of the oven… heaven on earth2. I’m not making any direct accusations. But whenever I go in and the older blonde lady is at the register, they are always “out of chai”, or ice. (I am addicted to their iced chai latte) but whenever the guy (Jonathan?) or literally ANY other worker is there, they make it for me. I’m not exaggerating, every. Single. Time. She’s there, no chai. She’s not there, I get chai. I’d bet this has happened without fail every visit for the past 4 years. 4 years of this can’t be a coincidence can it?? I don’t think so

Was pretty excited to try them, I got them delivered. The bagel itself was very very hard and tough! Barely any fillings in the BLT, 4 thin sliced tomatoes. Tuna salad tasted good but the bagel cut the inside of of my mouth honestly. Wouldn’t really recommend.

Skimped on the cream cheese and bacon. Barely a strip of bacon broken into bacon bits, though I was charged a premium.Food took way too long to be ready, especially since there were 3 people working the counter and only 3 people on line.I was going to give them 1 star, but though the bagel was stale, I bet it was good when fresh. The place is also clean. As a former cook, I respect that.
