I revisit Joy Cafe (which is the newest name/incarnation for Soy Cafe) whenever I'm in NoLibs. It always leaves me feeling incredibly healthy and happy. Soy/Joy Cafe is in my top two vegan restaurants in all of Philly. My favorite dish here is the ramen with BBQ seitan. The seitan is just so very tasty. Everything here, from the seitan, to the vegan cream cheese, is homemade. My husband gets the carrot lox sandwich which includes the housemade cream cheeze along with red onions, carrot lox, and more, on many choices of really excellent bread. Don't leave without getting a smoothie! I tend to get the Green Giant, but the Coco Loco is also really yummy. Eat in the back garden on a nice day!

Love the breakfast menu. Good coffee and tea options for a lactose intolerant vegan like me.

The outdoor seating area in the rear of the restaurant gives you the feel of hanging out in someone's personal garden hideaway.Parking: The restaurant is located in a very busy section of the city, very close to both I-95 and 76 highway systems.

This place is sooooo good! I’m not usually a fake meat vegan, but the vegan Philly cheesesteak was so good I came back the next day and got it again.

Had a delicious Vegan Pho here. The broth had tumeric, ginger and coconut in it - it was so tasty ?

Stopped here for lunch after a music class with my child and was blown away by the delicious food and friendly service. Super kid and gluten free friendly!! My child loved the food which is rare and I had one of the best ramen since I’ve moved to Philly from CA. Highly recommend!!!

Super cute place. Warm atmosphere. The staff was really friendly and accommodating. The pho was steaming hot and comparable to places specializing in pho. It was delicious!!! Broth was perfect. Got with gf noodles.Got the cheesesteak wrap with no tomatoes. I LOVED it. And I'm not typically a wrap person.Generous portions.

Very welcoming and very nice people. A cool place to just hang to eat or sip. Very cozy and they make you feel like youre at home. Meets all the needs and requirements i would look for in a cafe.

Usually I don’t have a bad experience with this place but this is awful. I just paid ten dollars for not even a half bowl of mac n cheese. Okay for coffee but please don’t buy food here if you’re a normal person
