I ordered a plain cheese pizza for take out on a Sunday afternoon. I had to wait 25 minutes but it was worth it. Like most places in the city, parking options are very limited. When I walked in to their shop I saw several happy customers eating away, enjoying their food. The place seats about 20 people. Nice low key , no frills, South Philly Italian pizza parlor vibe with very good food. It beats standing in line at Angelo’s.
Went as a group of 7 and got multiple dishes to share. While I prefer NY or Sicilian style, the pizza here was phenomenal. We got a plain white, plain red, a red with mushrooms and peppers, and a red with sausage and mushrooms. We also got the house salad, arancini, and meatballs. Everything was cooked perfectly and delicious. The service was a little slow, but they were incredibly busy with takeout orders.
