Went here during a weekday afternoon looking for an ice cream and a waffle. Nobody in the store but employees (who looked miserable). After struggling with no help to read the menu, I ordered a simple ice cream with a waffle. They were sold out of waffles. No apologies, just a statement of fact. Tasty cool treat for a hot day! I was a little skeptical about ordering from here because it was completely empty when I walked in the early evening (so I assumed it would be crowded from after-school and -work traffic. However, I'm happy to report that everything I got was great! The rolled ice cream (I got cookie dough) was cold, sweet but not too sweet, and perfectly refreshing. Love love loved my first ever rolled ice cream from this spot! I got the cinnamon toast crunch with almonds and roasted marshmallows and it was sooo good. Going back to Philly this weekend and this is definitely on the list of places to stop by again!
