Almaz Cafe Reviews
Seriously, you have to try Almaz. It gets so busy on Saturdays, but the servers somehow manage to be super friendly and quick. I’ve never had to wait long for anything, even when it's packed. They always make you feel welcome!
I really liked the Vegetarian Combo (which is vegan). So many good flavors together. Definitely worth getting the combo instead of picking and choosing. The injera is also very flavorful, it is more savory than others I have had in the past.

Yes yes and yes. Hands down this is the hidden gem I’ve been looking for. The coffee is sensational. The food is exceptional. My favorite place in center city. I make it a habit to visit here regularly.

Almaz Cafe is renowned for serving authentic and flavorful Ethiopian cuisine. The restaurant offers gluten-free injera available upon request. The injera is designed to absorb the rich flavors of the curries, creating a unique dining experience. The cafe's veggie platter and vegetable combo are highly recommended, with many considering them the best in the city. The service is friendly, and the portions are generous, making it a great value. The interior design is lovely, and the atmosphere is welcoming. Guests enjoy a great variety of dishes, including hot chocolate and salad. The owner shows great hospitality, and the food is delicious. Many return just to eat here again.
