“I've tried a few different Ethiopian places and this is some of the best I've tried. Normally I'm not a huge fan of collard greens but I loved these, they were tender and delicious. The bread was thick and spongey and portioned correctly for the amount of vegetables in the platter. I would certainly return if I were in the area again.“

“5 star for the customer service. We went in a little after the kitchen closed for Dining in. The lady who was running the restaurant made sure we got our food as a ToGo and let us dine in with cutlery to help us out. Never seen any restaurants being so considerate and willing to go out of their way to make it a pleasant experience.Vegetarian options: Get the Veggie Combo to fill andget a taste of all veggies items in the menu“

“We’ve tried all the Ethiopian food in this area and this is the one that keeps us coming back. The food is sooooo good. Service is a little slow but every time we’ve been there it’s only 1 guy working and he’s working hard. We don’t mind the wait at all, we usually bring some cards or something to keep us occupied ? the restaurant is very clean. its BYOB so bring your drink of choice! I really love this place. I hope you try it.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options. I eat meat but went with 2 vegetarians and we shared everything. Eating vegetarian here still is sooooo satisfying.Wheelchair accessibility: This place is not wheelchair accessible. There’s a small set of about 4 stairs you have to walk down to get into the building.“

“one of my favorite bars! staff has always been friendly and accommodating. big fan of their outdoor space, the ethopian cheesesteak, split lentil wot, and goden tibs. sometimes on busier nights it can be a bit of a wait for food and service as the staff is small, but I think its well worth it for what you get! love this place :-)“

“Buna Cafe is such a gem in the neighborhood. I’ve not had a chance to dine in yet, but their food via delivery has been outstanding. It’s always well-presented and carefully packaged, which just isn’t the case for all food deliveries. I’ve tried a number of the vegan sides, but I’ve found my groove with the veg platter, and it just makes me so happy! The shiro is amazing—smooth and creamy and so flavorful! I sometimes get it as a side in addition to the platter to have some to enjoy the next day. Definitely worth a visit or placing an order!“

“Very fast and friendly service. Decent Ethiopian food. This restaurant I would say is more of a place to go for drinks, but I liked it and would return. I had the veggie platter-beets, collard greens, cabbage, three different kinds of lentils and a garden salad. It was very filling!“

“Possibly the best fried chicken in west Philadelphia. It's crispy and seasoned to perfection, plus you can get more traditional Ethiopian fare that also doesn't fail to impress. This is the kind of restaurant where everything on the menu is fantastic, so if you see a special just get it. “Food is delicious. Kinda hard to get a drink when you're not a regular, though, which shouldn't be a thing. The rasta pasta is very good and not overseasoned like a lot of places.Only complaint is if they don't know or recognize you, good luck getting served.“
