This is a straight up, no nonsense breakfast food diner with all of the staples. The breakfast burrito is my personal favorite but I’ve also had the pancakes, breakfast sandwiches, and baked goods and every time I walk away satisfied. The only concern is that it’s a really tiny spot: be prepared to wait for a while to get a table.

This is a fun little space. Menu is pretty large with many options. I got the tofu scrambled and it was amazing. Will definitely come back.

Best place to get a filling and delicious breakfast, they have a lot of options for such a small kitchen! Food is very consistent (been going for 8 years!) and if it’s a nice day, we always take our food to the park next door to eat and watch the dogs play ☺️
The burrito or the tot bowl are my favorites, but all of the scrambles are great, the sandwiches are big for the price, and the donuts are surprisingly good (I won’t say which one is my favorite 😅).

The Tasty was such a fun place to dine. I ate the food before my phone did, so I got ZERO pictures to share but everything was yummy. Loved the waffle, such a favorite of mine, with some sourdough toast and tempeh bacon - so good!!! I will definitely be going back. Super LGBTQ friendly and amazingly kind and attentive staff 🤍

Had the egg, sausage & cheez on an everything Philly roll with home fries and coffee. Sandwich was great, added a little hot sauce bc... why not?? Asked for the home fries well done, but they weren't... were ok, but could have used some seasoning. Coffee was delicious.

Like most American vegan food, the savory dishes skew pretty salty. We got the biscuit and bacon gravy, coffee, and breakfast hoagie. Good texture on everything, but it all started to get salty the more we ate. Be aware of when you go. My friend and I tried to get a counter seat on the weekend and the wait was way too long. We ended up doing takeout instead, which is a bummer since the inside looks really cute. The prices are a little above what I consider reasonable, but not as bad as other vegan places.

What can I say, we come here twice a week even though we don't live in the neighborhood!
I usually order either the Dirty Jersey tofu sandwich (I love the new River option with sauteed spinach and spicy mayo in addition to the vegan ham and cheese), or the omelette with various fillings. I often add a side Caeser salad with my meal which is so tasty and has homemade croutons. We usually dine in (the kitchen which is staffed with the two exceptional chef owners is super fast!) But we occasionally take out food to go, if we have to run back to our desks for work. But it's such a cute place that I prefer to eat there.
The staff is all very sweet too, and excellent at serving. I don't know them by name because I'm kind of an introvert, but they always make me feel so welcome. For coffee, I vacillate between the drip coffee (the best in the city, not kidding) or an espresso based drink like a latte or cappuccino. But for the true diner experience, I love that the drip coffee is so good!

Cozy diner with a delicious menu of options. Staff are super knowledgeable and kind. You may have a little wait depending on when you go, nice area to stroll around the block while you wait!

Googling and came across this nice little place. My 1st time I tried the BLT with only coconut bacon and it was good. I have tried the deluxe burrito as well another good option. My all time fav is the tofu scramble platter topped with coconut bacon with seasoned waffle fries and a side of pancakes. Everything is sooo good. Pancakes are so soft and tasty. Everything just goes well together. I have been here multiple times and have yet to be disappointed. Thanks to both cooks; you both do a great job! I recommend this diner to anyone looking for plant based options.
