Today I ordered a hoagie through grub hub, but when I received my order there was a mistake. After a quick call to the deli I was able to speak with one of the employees (who was very nice, professional and apologetic even though I know we all make mistakes and there were no hard feelings) but she and the manager were able to correct the order and even redeliver themselves! Best tuna wrap ever! Beautiful, Clean, Excellent location! Friendly & Pleasant staff -totally enjoyed.
It was a little chilly in there which I don't prefer. But they have the most inexpensive lunch meat that I've seen in the city, and the customer service is AMAZING!!!
Umbria Gourmet Delicatessen & Grocery is a neighborhood spot known for great customer service and a selection of basic and gourmet grocery items. Popular items include the meatball sandwich with huge, delicious meatballs, and the turkey special hoagie with good turkey but needing better coleslaw. The veggie hoagie with eggplant and the Smokey brisket sandwich on Texas toast are also recommended. Customers praise the homemade chicken salad, which is served with seeded rolls, and appreciate the thinly sliced onions on sandwiches. The Stallion Hoagie has been called the best hoagie in the area, and the potato salad is made exactly how many customers like it. The store offers a parking lot, and staff remember returning customers, adding to the friendly atmosphere. However, the chicken cheese steak needs improvement, and the store is not wheelchair accessible. Sandwiches cost around $15-$16 each. The store is sometimes chilly inside, and breakfast sandwiches can have issues with under-toasted bagels.
