Varga Bar & Restaurant is a great neighborhood gastropub located in Center City, Philadelphia. It has a cool, chill vibe with dive bar feels, but the space is more cozy and inviting. The atmosphere is just darn special. The staff is attentive and accommodates requests. The bartender is super nice, very knowledgeable, and makes you feel like family. They have a superb craft beer selection and an eclectic selection of international and regional bourbons and whiskeys. The drinks are unique. The food is amazing, with a ton of food options so anyone can find what they are in the mood for. Specific meals mentioned include the House Caesar Salad with HOBBS Hot Sauce, which is SO delicious, and a side of fries. For drinks, they have the best Expresso Martini, a great Strawberry Margarita, and a wonderful Boulevardier with Laphroaig. It is a great spot for food and drink.
