I went here to celebrate my birthday back in June and it was an amazing experience. The food was delicious and the waitress was courteous! The drink I ordered was very good. We will be back very soon!

Came here while visiting with my family a few weeks ago. One of my favorite Thai places I’ve ever had, definitely recommend the Thai chili martini and drunken noodles. Our server was so sweet and the manager was very accommodating.

Cute spot. Didn't dine in but ordered take out. Staff was very welcoming and had good sense of humor. Got spring rolls, curry puffs and shrimp pad Thai. Since it was take out, I didn't eat it fresh. I'm sure spring rolls and curry puffs would've been crispy if eaten fresh. But they both still tasted good even when eaten cold. The curry puffs had great flavors. Would definitely get it again to try it fresh and hot. Shrimp pad thai had decent amount of large pieces of shrimp. Good balance of flavor. Overall was good food.

The host was very earnest. And we wanted to like it. But some of the worst Thai we have had. The dumplings were deep fried ( we asked for fire thinking pan firs as they typically are) and very dry with soy sauce on side. Not typical pot Sri Lee sauce which is sweeter. Chicken pad see ew salty and jsu did not tase good at all. This lettuce wrap salty and sticky. Maybe they had another cook tonight? Hope it improves.

Bang average food! The Thai drunken noodles had such gigantic pieces of tomato that it was making the whole dish so mushy..the Khao Soi was extremely salty and left a bad taste in the mouth! Wish the food was better!

Although a little out of the way, Xiandu is one of Chinatown’s top Thai restaurants. The restaurant is split in two, with a bar in front and a more traditional dining area in the back. We were able to get seats without a reservation at 6 pm but it seems like they got a lot busier around 7! Even as crowds started piling in, our brilliant server was able to give us plenty of attention. She gave us recommendations and told us what her favorite dishes on the menu were. Our meal included Thai fried rice with chicken which was served with a fried egg and a perfectly runny yolk, alongside fresh tomatoes and cucumbers. The chicken itself was a touch bland but the the vegetables were well seasoned. The highlight of our visit and what we’d wholeheartedly recommend was their mango sticky rice. Definitely a dish you can rave home about. The coconut sauce was incredibly rich and the mango was sweet and tart, the rice was cooked with the perfect texture that we couldn’t help but smile after our first bite. We loved our experience at Xiandu and definitely recommend it to anyone in the city seeking an exceptional Thai restaurant! And seriously don’t leave without trying their mango sticky rice.

Fantastic Thai. Ordered the drunken noodles which were some of the best I’ve had anywhere and my wife got the Pad Sew and she loved hers as well. On top of that the staff were some of the nicest people we encountered in the city. Would definitely recommend.

Great food, great ambience, and good prices (for Philly). Popped in to grab lunch on a weekend and did not have to wait for a table at all. There were a lot of vegetarian options. Both me and my wife really liked our food and would totally come again!

Haven’t been here in a few years but remembered enjoying it so I stopped in with some friends and it was not at all how I remembered it.
The service is great but everything insides feels dated and the chairs seem dirty, sweaty and old. The food came out quick which can sometimes be a good thing but can also be suspicious. All of our meals tasted overcooked and the only texture was mush. Wasn’t inedible but wasn’t good :( sadly don’t think I’ll be back
