“This cookie/sandwich shop has risen to the top in so many ways! We live in FL and our daughter lives in Pittsburgh and it was her birthday. I looked up cookie places and GoodL’Oven cookie shop in Bellevue popped up, I liked the name so I gave them a call😁 Next was where the experience began, I spoke to John, the baker, who listened to my story like he had all the time in the world, he navigated me thru their delicious cookie menu and which cookies are the people pleasers, then I decided to order sandwiches which he recommended the French Connection & Muffalata. But to top it off, (they are typically not a delivery place) he arranged to have my order delivered to my daughter’s place! She was so surprised and raved about the cookies and Sammie’s! “Stopped here on a whim while visiting Pittsburgh for the weekend. We were looking to grab a coffee and pastry and found this place close to where we were headed. Let me tell you. I would come here every day!! Delicious. We had an almond croissant, hazelnut croissant and brought some bread home. Just slices the olive loaf. I cannot explain how delicious it is. Keep doing a great job. We will be back when we visit the city again!!“

“A friend asked me to pick up a turtle cheesecake. I go here and the lady says we don’t have any made but I have a carrot cheesecake. So I took that and caught “heck” from my friend because it wasn’t what she asked for. I explained that they didn’t have any so she called and was told yes we have 3 turtle cheesecakes. Last time I buy anything there.“

“Absolutely delicious! What made it extra special is that they partner with Robert Morris University. At the start of the semester, RMU sent an email about signing up for their birthday club to possibly win a cake! I feel so lucky, and the owners were such amazing, lovely people. We brought this cake to a friends house for soup cook-off. Although we were voting for our favorite soup, everyone agreed the lemon cake was the true winner - there were no leftovers! Our family absolutely loves Crumbl! We have some local to us and we always manage to hit any on road trips and such while out and about. How could you not want a cookie the size of a small child’s head?! The photos alone would be worth the purchase!

My daughter had her birthday club coupon to use so we stopped at the one at Robinson. There is a self service check out to place your order. We were having trouble figuring out how to get her free cookie on the self check out, and the worker happily helped us.

As always, walking into the establishment, it was very clean and refreshing. The simplicity just makes it! All of the examples of that week’s cookies were set up on the counter to get a good look at for size and design. The pretty pink color of the boxes would just make anybody’s day. Erin was wonderful! She brought out the reading trackers for all our students, and surprised us with their yummy Bundt cakes for our staff! Then when I saw the cinnamon rolls & the chocolate snack cakes, I knew I had to make the journey from the North Hills to try them. When I got there, I ordered the cinnamon roll and a brisket, egg & cheddar biscuit breakfast sandwich with no bbq sauce. I was sad that they didn't have the chocolate snack cakes. I asked the young lady who waited on me when was the best time to catch the snack cakes? She said she would check with the bakers. She came back and said that if I was willing to wait, it would only be a few minutes for them to get iced. I waited of course and when I got home, I smelled it and boy oh boy did it smell and look awesome!!! Shout out to the young lady that waited on me. She really went above and beyond.
