Wonderful evening at cafe Momentum. The service, the food, the environment was amazing. The kids who are learning were so friendly. Will definitely be back. And if you needed another reason to go to this restaurant it BYOB.
Beautiful interior, wonderful employees, outrageously delicious food and all with a wonderful mission. If you have the opportunity it’s to talk with the employees you’ll be in for a treat and leave with a full heart and a smile. We had an amazing evening and couldn’t recommend it any more!
Our first visit, we thoroughly enjoyed the Pumpkin Brunch! The Apple Cider Mimosas were petfect, the pumpkin French Toast was amazing, and the Chili Egg Puffs were delicious! Looking forward to trying the regular dinner menu in this creative café soon!

Café Momentum Pittsburgh offers a memorable dining experience with its mission and fantastic food. Chef Peter's expertise and friendly waitstaff create a welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant supports local businesses and is an excellent BYOB option, with a $5 corkage fee per person. It features thoughtfully designed seating and an open kitchen that highlights the collaboration between the staff and the youth they serve. Guests have enjoyed standout dishes like the Parmesan fries, smoked fried chicken, and lobster ravioli. Portions are large, and many customers find the food truly exceptional, comparable to 5-star chef's tasting table caliber. The salmon and pork chop were especially praised. Several diners appreciated the opportunity to support the youth while enjoying great food and service. The menu also includes favorites like the egg salad sandwich and potato salad, which are prepared with extra attention to detail. Recent reviews mention that pasta, salmon with potatoes and vegetables, and smoked fried chicken are popular choices, with plenty of food to share. Service is considered reasonably good, and diners are encouraged to give it a try, as many plan to return. Overall, Café Momentum is among the most enjoyable places in Pittsburgh in terms of food, community impact, and atmosphere.
