The Man, The Myth, The Legend…. Chef Mike absolutely tearing it up in the kitchen. First - the food. I’ve been about four times now and everything has been delicious, but the gumbo is without exaggeration one of the best things I’ve ever tasted. The proportions of contents and blend of spices have been perfected.The desserts are also homemade and top notch, worth every penny and then some.On top of the very reasonably priced, exquisite food, the owner is always a genuine pleasure to interact with. I ate here yesterday !!! and could'nt get past the GUMBO. And that cornbread on the side, just made me do a MAMBO. Soon I looked down in dread as I lowered my head to see the bowl, empty,below. The quick thinker I am, to get out this jam, I just ordered four more to go! ( with peach cobbler and carrot cake for dessert).
