Carmi Soul Food Restaurant is a small place without seating, perfect for ordering food to go. The staff is kind and polite, explaining the menu well. Their full thanksgiving meal is delicious and generous, enough to feed a large group comfortably. The Turkey is juicy, sides are seasoned perfectly, and everything is prepared perfectly. The food is made with love, heart, and soul. The shrimp n grits, ribs, greens, chicken sandwiches, and new stuffed Turkey Legs are incredible and delicious. The catfish and grits are seasoned to perfection. It is the best soul food restaurant in the burgh.
