City Winery Pittsburgh Reviews
Got bumped from the balcony I paid extra for, table was never assigned a waiter and as of writing have sat for over 40 minutes without being able to order a single appetizer or drink.
That’s several hundreds of dollars wasted on the sourest New Year’s Eve event I’ve had in ages.
Edit: Table H2 finally got to order 57 minutes after sitting down.
It was a great place for a date night, saw a great show and had good apps and even took two bottles of wine home for a fire afterwards
It was our first visit to City Winery for the John Waite concert. The venue was very intimate and the concert was fabulous. The food, wine and service were fantastic. We look forward to coming again.

City Winery Pittsburgh is a well-regarded establishment that offers a delightful experience. The staff are upbeat and greet customers warmly, providing top-notch service in a very clean and beautiful setting. The team works well together, creating a smooth operation. The white sweet blend wine is particularly enjoyable. The burger sliders, made with fresh ingredients and perfectly cooked meat, are a must-try. For those interested in entertainment, City Winery hosts performances and offers tables with a view of the stage. The waygu steak is a satisfying dinner option.
Customers look forward to returning for the variety of shows, attentive service, and tasty truffle fries. However, some have had disappointing experiences with certain dishes, such as cold fries, incorrect orders, and cold meatballs. The restaurant may need to improve its kitchen efficiency to ensure consistent food quality.
