Had a really lovely time here. Our appetizers were great, we got the kale salad and the winter squash soup. I wasn't expecting the soup to be SOO flavorful. Our pizza was good and our rice pudding desert was amazing.
By far my favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh. This is not a traditional pizzeria, though the pizzas are authentic in a creative way. The pizza is thin crust, there are usually 5-6 different types on the menu, which changes daily. Ingredients are of the highest quality, always seasonal. If you are used to US chains or local shops serving so-called pizza with toppings swimming in either dead or synthetic cheese, this place may not be for you. Dinette’s pizza is as close to Italian pizza one would get. Crispy thin crust, few select toppings that waken the palate, and flavorful mozzarella. Savor rather than gorge!
