The last few times I’ve ordered out from here my orders have been completely wrong. This time I will not call back. I guess I’ll be looking for a New Mexican restaurant!

My wife (from Mexico) says the tacos here are the best she's tried in Pittsburgh! That's high praise!Try the Al Pastor tacos, order them with flour tortillas.Kid-friendliness: They provide high chairs, and have a decent kids' menu. The enchiladas are made to not be spicy at all.

My boyfriend and I attended this location for happy hour. I asked the waiter what the happy hour special was and with his hand, scanned over the entire drink menu and stated everything was $2 off. We ordered, total 4 drinks, 3 med size margarita and one watermelon cocktail. For food, steak and chicken fajitas and the cheese pepper popper for appetizer, which we shared. The bill came and it was $96!!!!! We asked the waiter about the happy hour price, he stated " there are different shelf tequilas and he gave us the best" I stated "we were never asked what liquor we wanted" he response was "well I made you really good margaritas" !!!!!! So BEWARE of them UPCHARGING YOUR DRINKS... Would never got there again, I feel taken advantage of!!
The place really went downhill and the prices are outlined in. The food actually used to be really good. It sucked. I won't be going

El Campesino is our go-to Mexican place in the North Hills. We just did take out this time, but the restuarant has a great atmosphere and vibe to it. I ALWAYS get the jalisco steak, and I have never been disappointed. My wife gets the combination platter and loves their enchiladas. I love Mexican food, and by far this is the best of the best. At El Campesinos they also make a decent Margarita as well. I highly recommend it here - for take out or dine in. For take out, make sure you are close by when you order, because it usually just takes 15 to 20 minutes before it is ready! Well worth it!
