their chicken and rice is one of the best dishes I've ever had from any restaurant the chicken is not only soft and really good the rice puts all of the flavors together and creates a really great and filling dish
Almost there
Best Puerto Rican in Pittsburgh. Kinda the only puerto rican to be honest but they are definitely holding it down the food was excellent, Pernil, rice, beans, ect all really good. The staff is nice, and it's really nice in there. Ask to sit in the back.

Definitely there's room for improvement. Service was slow and inefficient on a nearly empty restaurant. Food was OK; my rice was halfway cooked and my pork chop a bit over done.
And no alcohol?

Food nothing like pictures
Rice not cooked thoroughly, weird after taste on empanadas, they have an advertisement for coffee but they don’t have any. Eating area not clean.

Worst $40 I ever spent. I went out of my way for PR food and was very disappointed. Both the food and the service were terrible. I don’t know what type of seasoning they used for these beans, but it certainly isn’t Puerto Rican. The rice had a weird color and
The chicken tasted old and had a strange texture. The 1 person working was taking a personal call the entire time we were there. He never checked on us or even spoke one word to us since we had to place our own order on on iPad. Just awful!

I was very excited about this restaurant as it is a small minority business in Pittsburgh I wanted to support. The Chef was busy on the phone most of the time and i think he just reheated leftovers and served us that instead of cooking a fresh meal. The restaurant itself has some cool puerto rican island vibes with colorful and boriqua themed decorations. The negative reviews on the empanadas are accurate, burnt and dry filling. I hope the owners are genuine about improving the quality of food because the place has potential. I honestly felt i was served food that was 1-2+ days old. The touch pad used for transactions/ordering menu was efficient; nice modern touch. Hopefully future customers will experience it on better days!
Parking: restaurant is on an occasionally busy street.

The food is ok. The seasoning is lacking, but the food is ok. Good parking, good seating, and the staff is friendly.

Being from out of state I’m always searching for PR food but I don’t think I’d order from here again. The rice was hard and tasted old. The food took a while to “cook” but when I ate it it was cold. The empanada was the only good part even though over cooked. Wasn’t worth the $

Over fried empanadillas very disappointed, although I’m not from the area! I was just visiting, and to come across this place before heading back to a 6hr road trip! Was total disappointment.
