I was a ready to eat some Rican food but it was a mistake coming here. First you have the server smoking outside, didn't even greet you they just look at you funny. The food in the picture and menu seem delicious but man was we wrong, I spend $75 and let me tell you we all threw the food to the garbage it was bad and on top of that they give us the wrong rice. The food tastes nasty like days old food, the rice was really bad no tasteand seem like they just reheated the food. I don't recommend this place at all the atmosphere is not even safe. I will never come here again, So disappointed.

Wish I had seen the other review before ordering but this is NOT good Puerto Rican food. The rice tasted like box rice. Empanada was bland. Plátanos were very mid . Lacked all flavor so sad and disappointing. If youre Puerto Rican pls do not order from here

This place is called a Puerto Rican culinary but the problem is presentation. Some of their plate I have never seen in the Island.

I am so pleased with the food and service! Upon arriving we where greeted with smiles and cheer. The decor was warm and clean. Ms. Nicki treated my baby like her own. She was friendly and attentive. The chef even came out to converse with us which I loved. We ordered numerous items off the menu and it was all delicious and flavorful! The portions were more than adequate and the pricing was beyond affordable! We ordered 2 different entrees, 6 empanadas, 2 extra sides and 2 drinks and a meal to go and our bill was barely 60$.
We did travel 45 minutes to try this spot and it was worth it! 100% we will be coming back!

Tried 3 different empanadas and thought the Veggie empanada was the best tasting. Will revisit for other meal.

I stopped here to try some empanadas. I tried the beef, chicken, and pizza empanadas. All of them were good, very flavorful. They were so good we even tried some of the sweet empanadas — highly recommend the apple one!
I would like to say that I did not find the empanadas greasy at all, rather they had a good crunchy outer texture and a lot of filling on the inside. The lady who served us (wish I knew her name) was very sweet, friendly, and helpful/accommodating.

This review really pains me. I ALWAYS hope that Latino restaurants are ALWAYS on the WINNING side of things. I NEVER EVER post retaliatory reviews. I’M NOT THAT GUY, however, I will be brutally honest and sometimes, it’s really disheartening to do so but, here we go.

The outside building and the menu on the window looked promising. Even inside, the artwork was nice and Puerto Rican-ish. Then, I encountered a couple of really nice guys that didn’t speak Spanish, at least they didn’t to me even though I spoke to them in Spanish.

Again, they were absolutely great and I have nothing further to say about that.

The food, that’s a whole different animal. As a Puerto Rican, who’s in Puerto Rico as I write this review, the food was the absolute worst I have ever had. I took a spoonful of the rice and a bite of the pork chop and I had my wife wrap it up and throw it in the trash. IT.WAS.THAT.BAD! I think they used Uncle Ben’s microwaveable rice.

What I ate was absolutely NOTHING near Puerto Rican food. The pernil was also terrible and they should be jailed for calling that plate “pernil.” It’s an insult to the pig. I’m going to just dead the rest of my review because it was truly sad.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. Again, it’s painful to write this but, I have to keep it 💯 so that my reviews helps people make the right decision. I’m not trolling and definitely not trying to write this review to hurt business but, I have to keep it real.

The food is nasty. I ordered the steak w/onions and white rice, side of red bean and 2 empanadas. The empanadas was greasy and not good, the red bean was flavorless and watery and the steak was steak slices(like for pepper steak not regular steak) and rice was mushy. I did call to tell them and was refunded my money. This is not what PR food tastes like and I would not recommend nor will I eat here again(my 2nd time and want pleased).

While working on a road crew I tried this place and was not disappointed. The Pollo Guisado (Stewed chicken, green olives, rice, and beans) was really good. Will eat there again. Highly recommended.
