“My wife & I go to dinner with a few other couples once a month. We go down the alphabet & go to non chain restaurants. We picked Meat & Potatoes for M. This was all of our first time at the restaurant. We were seated in the side 1 table room, the service was great, it was like our own little space. My wife & I got the 2 Tomahawk steaks, bone marrow, asparagus, & shoestring fries. Everything was amazing, we all got different starters to share. We got the pig candy, all starters were great! There was not one complaint from the table, we will definitely be back. I have known the owner for a very long time, & been to his other places & been just as satisfied. “This is the most under rated restaurant in Pittsburgh. I've noticed over the years a ton of chefs have been in and out of here but whoever is there now is absolutely killing it. We go weekly, sometimes more if there is a good event at Stage AE. Service is usually really good but the food is really good. Lots of great flavor combinations. Southwest Salad is a favorite as well as the Gnocchi, Short Rib and Salmon. That salmon is other worldly. I can't wait to see what the future brings!“

“I stay at the Embassy Suites a lot but have only dined in twice. The first time they nailed my order, but today, they left half the toppings off my salad....which didn't leave much. I got a house salad with salmon, and they only put olives on it, no cheese, no tomato. Green olives and balsamic didn't really pair well together on their own. Would have been nice to have some other flavors balancing them out. A $24 salad should at least come with all the toppings it advertises. Also ordered a cup of soup. That was not great. The salmon on the salad was cooked well though, so I appreciate that!“
