It has been forever since I have sat at a hotel bar but I didn’t want to go outside so Ollie’s was where I ended up for the night and I am so glad I did.
As you can expect, it was easy to get to as it is right on the main check-in level of the Embassy. I found my way over to the bar and began to scroll the menu. To my surprise, there was more than just the regular bar food which allowed for even more options. Can you say excited? LoL!

Good service, but I wish the windows were floor-to-ceiling given that this is apparently the highest bar or restaurant in Pittsburgh outside of Mount Washington.

Ollie's Gastropub is a restaurant located in downtown Pittsburgh with beautiful views of the city. The chocolate cake is a highlight, and the cocktail menu offers interesting choices. Service can be slow during peak hours, but the staff is attentive. Prices are around $24 for a salad, and the atmosphere is pleasant, especially by the window.
