I'm not sure who the guy was behind the counter last night, but he absolutely made our night. I always enjoy the pizza at Giovanni's, and the sweet twist is one of my absolute favorite desserts. But it is really the pleasant attitude and kindness of the guy behind the counter from go that made this a hands-down five-star review
The staff are awesome and the food kind of reminded me of the sandwiches and pizza you’d get at a roller skating rink, but if it grew up. That doesn’t mean it is bad, just kind of what I thought while I was eating it.
I did the hot Italian hoagie and a small pepperoni pizza. The garlic butter sauce for dipping is strong. Totally loved that bit of extra.

Stopped into Giovanni's Pizza & Pasta while in Pittsburgh for the Draft since it was right outside our hotel, and it ended up being a great choice. We ordered a pepperoni pizza, and it came out fresh, hot, and didn’t take long at all. The pizza was big enough to last us two days, which is always a bonus. The sauce had a sweeter flavor than I’m used to, but in a good way—it made the pizza stand out and gave it a unique taste. Great spot for a convenient and tasty...
