I had a drink with a friend tonight and was confounded when the bill came. I was automatically charged 20% gratuity without my consent or anyone letting me know this policy up front. I've seen this policy in establishments with 6 or more people at a table who order food. Never with a party of two who only got a few drinks. I almost always leave a tip (as a former waitress) but being required to do so without my consent feels like someone stole from me. People are not legally required to tip but this place seems to think that's okay. I will not be going back here and I wanted to give everyone a heads up that you will be charged 20% extra to eat or drink anything at this place.

The drink selection is fantastic, but the food was disappointing. Drinks came to the table in a reasonable amount of time, but the food took forever! The “shareables” were definitely not that, they were portioned for one person. They were tasty but not tasty enough for the price point. My fiancés burger came out wrong twice, but he ate it the second time because it was “close enough.”Vegetarian options: tofu subs with an adjusted price was niceDietary restrictions: messed up my fiancés burger twice that he ordered based off of his dietary restrictions… yikes

Was thankful for sidewalk seating because the music inside was too loud. The fish tacos were wonderful, the shawarma was okay. The painkiller was yummy!Kid-friendliness: Not a good restaurant for kids.

Pretty chill place to hangout if you can get in. It's generally pretty crowded. The prices of drinks are a bit overpriced compared to other bars.
Underwhelmed and disappointing. We finally got to visit and really liked the vibe. It's a cute bar and small seating area. Ambiance is fun with lots of fun things on the wall. Once we sat down, the menu was overpriced and disappointing. We got the smash burger and po boy. Burger was good but really small for $15. Po boy was big but bread was not fresh and a bit stale at the ends. Salad with po boy was just sad. Not worth $16. Drink menu is online QRCode and was just not our taste. Wine list was not good. Cocktails are way over priced. Im sure they only use the best ingredients but not for me. The reason for 2 stars.. they include 20% gratitudity. If you are in Squirrel Hill and are going to charge such high prices.. your clientele will tip. We normally over tip but having it added was disappointing and we won't be going back. This place has such potential and wish this place the best.

We were disappointed by the food quality. Not only did it take over an hour for the food to arrive, they got one of our friend's order wrong. Our friend decided just to scrape the dairy products off because at that point it was too much work to try and get someone's attention to change it. The rest of our food was bland and not worth the price. As others have mentioned, there's an automatic gratuity, which would be fine if the service and food were good. Beer was fine.

I guess it could have been worse. Basically this place is a cookie cutter “brewery” that doesn’t make its own beer. Look up the “expensive burger place starter pack” meme and you’ll know everything you need to know. Over priced food, uncomfortable metal chairs, subpar drink selection and in this case, their unique feature setting them apart from the rest was they add in 20% gratuity. Normally I would tip over that amount but this was especially off-putting given the experience. The interior decorations were cool, the rest was inauthentic. Won’t be back.

Great beer and wine selections and wonderful food. The staff is hardworking and friendly.If you go on Wednesday nights, Rick Sebak is spinning vinyl records, how cool is that?The outdoor seating is very attractive. This place is a winner.
