Went in and had a great time. Interesting concept and no shortage of items to try.
We used the app to join the waitlist on the way to the restaurant so we wouldn't have to wait very long. We were 3 minutes late to sign in and they seated us gracefully with no complaints. When we sat down the waitress explained quickly how everything worked. When she walked away we immediately started grabbing plates and ordering dishes. The food is always great. You'll probably spend more than you would at another sushi place just by the design of the conveyors sending food last your table constantly.
Some technical issues can be expected with the self service electronic menus. I think we've had issues on three of our four visits - but it's only ever been a minor inconvenience at worst.
Absolutely worth a visit.

Kura Revolving Sushi Bar offers a unique and enjoyable dining experience with a conveyor belt system and the option to use a tablet for additional menu options. The staff is super nice, quick to help, and very friendly. The food is delicious and doesn’t serve the same old sushi as every other sushi place. There is a reasonably broad variety of sushi, including options like nigiri, rolls, sashimi, and gunkan, along with sides such as tempura, gyoza, and wontons. Desserts like mochi ice cream and cheesecake are also available. The gamification aspect, such as a short cartoon every five plates, adds to the experience. The wasabi is also great, not the plain green horseradish paste most places serve. Overall, Kura Revolving Sushi Bar is considered a cool place with a great atmosphere, making it a fun outing for sushi lovers.
