Enfrijoladas
These are like your regular enchiladas but instead of red or green salsa on top we add a pinto bean sauce, they come with 4 pieces filled with scrambled eggs. Just the way mama used to make them back home.

When planning our wedding, we knew how important the food would be. Like so many others, we’ve left weddings before with the food being one of the first things we talk about — and we wanted our guests to leave remembering something special. We decided to stay true to ourselves as a couple and go a little “unique” with a taco truck. Enter La Palapa, and it was one of the best decisions we made!

Our party of 5 adults and 1 child decided to try out La Palapa on a Sunday afternoon. We were the only ones there! Service was quick, friendly, and attentive! Everything was amazing. We had the steak quesadillas, enchiladas, flautas, fajitas, and tamales. My son had the kids cheese quesadilla. The side of fried potatoes was delicious and we loved the plantains! The best Mexican food I've had in a long time.
Street parking was easy and free on Sundays till 6pm.

I was extremely hesitant to try this spot because Mexican food in Pittsburgh is questionable. I was pleasantly surprised by how tasty our meals were and the great value of the happy hour menu. Wonderful service, good food, and nice drinks.
