Fantastic Sushi and Service at Nakama South Side! The atmosphere is inviting and the perfect setting for a delicious meal. We focused on their sushi, and it was outstanding. Every roll was beautifully presented and tasted incredibly fresh, with a great balance of flavors and textures. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients and have skilled sushi chefs. Beyond the amazing food, the service was impeccable. Our server was attentive, friendly, and genuinely helpful with recommendations....

The food was good. We sat at a bar table so it was a little delayed in getting initial service but was fine after. Our appetizer did come after our food. I'm not sure if there was an oil fire or something but when we arrived and throughout the meal there was a really overwhelming smell of burning oil. I know there's hibachi tables but it was empty and 6:30 pm so maybe it just always smells like that but that was a bummer. Almost like there isn't proper ventilation

We had a great visit, just a little understaffed but I understand it is hard to find good restaurant workers. We had to wait a long time for drinks and for our chef to come to the table. Other than that our hibachi guy was fantastic and the food was great!
