Amazing gelato! I’ve never been able to find authentic Italian gelato in Pittsburgh… until today! So excited to discover Piccola Piazza, and can’t wait to try more flavors soon! What a treat… we loved it!

Nothing but rave reviews! If you’re looking for a different and delicious, authentic Italian dessert and love to support local, it doesn’t get better than this. The service is extremely personal, and neighborly! We’ve been thoroughly enjoying the gelato sampler- it will be tough to go back to anything from the grocery store- the taste is so fresh! I bought the sampler for my husband for Valentine’s Day (and myself of course) and it’s like the gift that keeps on giving!

Based on the reviews, Piccola Piazza Company is a family-owned business that makes the best gelato. The flavors are pure and there is a wonderful variety to choose from. Favorite flavors include the pasta di mandorle, hazelnut, chocolate, Nocciola Forte, Whiskey Cream, mixed berry, and a nuts gelato. The dessert becomes an experience of slowing down and savoring each layer of perfectly crafted flavor. The Gianduia torte is amazing and serves 6, making it a great value. The sampler 12-pack offers a great mix of different things to try, and the service comes from a place of love. The gelato is by far the best in the States and nothing compares to it. This is Pittsburgh's little slice of Italy, and having the gelato in a freezer for a few weeks is a true delight.
