Pigeon Bagels Reviews
Wow, the food here is awesome. Everything extremely fresh. Everything made on site apparently. There is a line out the door and only five people are allowed inside at a time to order. There is no place to eat inside but there are benches outside of the establishment and a nice park nearby with benches. We waited for a good 20 to 30 minutes to order it was well worth it. Prices were pretty good. Service was kind of slow. Hours are from early morning to mid-afternoon. Recommended
Great bagels, the best in town, but the service model can leads to missed expectations.
Best bagels I've ever had. The Fig & Honey shmear is to die for.

Pigeon Bagels is a popular spot in Pittsburgh, known for serving delicious bagels with generous toppings and friendly service. The bagels remind many of classic NYC stores. There are vegetarian-friendly options available, including a variety of cream cheese spreads. The menu features a range of bagel options, such as the garlic bagel with jalapeño cream cheese, the lox option, and a noteworthy carrot lox. Customers appreciate the friendly atmosphere and welcoming culture of the place, making it a great visit. While the coffee may not be exceptional, described by some as over-pulled and bitter, it remains affordable. Be prepared for a line and difficult parking, which is a sign of the shop’s popularity. Customers often find the bagels and coffee very yummy, with some wishing bacon or sausage was available on the menu. The bagels are highly praised, especially the plain, sesame, and garlic sea salt varieties, which are all excellent. The rugelach is good but not as memorable as the bagels. Overall, Pigeon Bagels is a beloved local shop, with the long line often seen as a sign of its quality.
