Based on customer reviews, Pittsburgh Sandwich Society Food Truck is a nice spot for sandwiches and burgers. The burgers are fantastic and the fries are on point. The menu is somewhat limited but has most of the basics, including traditional burgers and chicken alternatives. The grilled chicken club was very well made with high quality chicken, amazing bacon that comes in large crispy slabs, a flavorful green sauce, and a nicely toasted bun. The fried chicken sammy has solid flavor throughout, not too spicy. The cheesesteak is solid with a nice soft bread, good cheese, and tasty beef. Prices are good for the most part, though sides are a la carte. The food truck is located inside another business, which can be a little clunky for ordering. Customers order by scanning a QR code and then grabbing food from a pickup station. The service is pretty quick. Tons of outdoor seating is available, with a little bit of indoor seating in a dimly lit hipster bar vibe. It is great for takeout.
