Beautiful restaurant tucked in along Carson St. And the food!!! Phenomenal. The hummus knocks your socks off, the vegan options are amazing, and the pork chop and chicken spatzle are worth every calorie. Keep this gem around.

We were early to our Open Table reservation. There didn't seem to be anyone in the restaurant at the time so we didn't think it was an issue. Our server which says on our receipt as Nelly grunted and didn't say much as all when they grabbed the menus, slapped them on a table and walked away. My husband and I thought they were mad at us or what is going on? I tried to kill Nelly with kindness as 2 other tables sat down and it worked a little bit, but Nelly just seemed mostly uninterested and irritated. We were planning to eat appetizers and a full meal there, but it seemed like a lot of tension and felt uncomfortable. We got a drink a piece along with a focaccia appetizer. When the chef came out with it, he was so kind and the appetizer was pretty good, but then it went back to the tension in the room. A couple of ladies even asked Nelly if everything was okay and they said "I've been working all day. Just tired." or something along those lines. When Nelly came by to ask if we wanted entrees, we both said that it was okay and ask for the check. They seemed really irritated and walked away. It wasn't a pleasant experience as it was for my wife's birthday meal. We ended up going to another restaurant down the street.

Vistes on 11/1/24. Got the spatzle and chicken dish which was amazing! My girlfriend had a Reuben which was equally delicious. Definitely give this place a shot! Service was great and you won’t leave full as the portions were great sized. Great experience.

The food was excellent, as were the cocktails. If you’re looking for a quality bite in the south side, I would recommend.

They were understaffed for a Saturday evening - there were folks who weren’t served immediately as a result.

The decor is cute and fun. The food is excellent. A little TLC + rebranding / marketing and this would be a hit

Intimate a little restaurant with incredibly good food. Great and very friendly staff.

The brunch menu is fantastic, toast is incredible, biscuits and gravy are delicious.

Vegetarian options: I specifically asked the staff about vegetarians because I have some friends who are vegetarian. They were very ready to accommodate, and very knowledgeable about what is in the dishes.

Recommended dishes: Steak and Eggs, Chicken and Waffles Bacon Biscuit, Brisket Cheesesteak, Breakfast Potato Poutine, Reuben Sandwich

So good! Will definitely be back! Brunch was so yummy, and the cocktails were also on point. We were a group of 4, and everyone loved their dishes and drinks. Waitstaff was very attentive and super accommodating and friendly.

Brought my parents here for dinner and we were all quite pleased! We tried several different dishes, including the vegan meatballs, country chicken, pork chops, and a marinated bean pasta dish. I was impressed with such complex flavors from otherwise unassuming dishes. Tasty desserts too! Staff was very friendly as well. Would highly recommend!

The food and drinks were delicious! They were out of the chicken, so I had steak frites, the fries having a garlic aioli sauce. I went on a Monday evening so there was not many people at all. Service was still very quick and waitress was very sweet; we were in and out within an hour. The atmosphere is very calm, dimly lit, and quiet. I would go again.

This place is not a good value. The owners brag about their culinary training on their menu, but the food comes out mediocre. At these inflated prices, we were expecting much more.

I ordered the beet salad, and while the component parts of the salad were tasty, the mixed greens came with way too much dressing, which made the salad feel bogged down and sickly sweet. It was also on the small side for a $13 salad. I would consider ordering from here in the future, but I would definitely request the dressing to be on the side, and would encourage the establishment to increase the portion size.

When I first walked in I was hit by the smell of weed. Being there to see the live performer. The performer, Emie was amazing! We got the seared tuna, beet salad, and grits and greens. The food was fine. The tuna was on a salad that was a bit over dressed and distracted from the tuna and the grits and greens were salty. When I went to order a martini from the bartender she didn't know how to make it and would not listen to me when I tried to explain. Needless to say because of the smell and the incompetence we will not be returning.
