I had a really good experience here and would recommend to others. The service when I visited was particularly noteworthy. Despite being incredibly busy with just one waitress, she was incredible! She was remarkably efficient and seemed to have attended all tables with no problems. My table had no issues with our orders and was able to frequently check-in with us, along with putting a matchbook under our table when we didn't even mention it to her. As for the food, it was exceptional. I tried the duck noodles, a rare find from my experience with Thai restaurants, and it did not disappoint. The portion size was generous enough for me to take almost half of it home. I chose a spice level of 7, and it really had quite a kick. It left me visibly sweating which was actually quite funny for everyone at my table. I think the food and service really delivered here. I would return here should I be given the chance.

We live within walking distance of this place. When we first moved to Regent Square, we ate here. It's been so long that I don't remember why, but I don't think we were blown away. This was probably in 2015.But we came back here recently and had a wonderful experience. The portions of the food are large and it's very good. The staff is always friendly.

I have eaten here twice and it has been incredible both times! I've tried a lot of options for Thai in Pittsburgh but Thai Cottage is #1 in my opinion. The food is excellent (best crab rangoons I've probably ever had) and comes out very fast. The service is great and all the people working are very helpful with recommendations and very kind. It is BYOB and very cozy inside the restaurant. I cannot recommend Thai cottage enough!

Delicious! I had the tom kha (coconut milk) soup with veggies and a tofu basil rice dish.Vegetarian options: Most dishes can be ordered with veg or tofu. I'd ask what's in the sauce if I were vegan.
