I was working in the area and decided to stop into Black Canary for a coffee. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed. The shop was extremely clean, professional, and had the feel of a proper, well-run coffee shop. Even the restroom was clean as a whistle.
The gentleman behind the counter was extremely professional, welcoming, and polite. I ordered two vanilla lattes, and they were absolutely delicious.

Fantastic atmosphere and one of the best lattes I’ve had in Pittsburgh. I love that they make their own syrups. I had a cold brew as well which was perfect.
My first time here, and I'll be back again! Everything was delicious with quick, friendly customer service. I recommend!
