“El Mariachi has very good Mexican food. Can't go wrong here. I usually get take out but have eaten inside the restaurant also. Taco Tuesday is a great deal. Surprised that there is not a line out the door for this one! Close enough to Doylestown to make the trip.“

I’m sitting in the restaurant writing this review before I leave because it was that good!I chose this place because I wanted Mexican and I didn’t know the Mexican places around this area, it had the best reviews so I figured we’d try it. BEST DECISION EVER!!! My son got a cheese quesadilla he loved (I tried it too and was impressed!). I got chicken fajitas - absolutely fantastic. Then my dad got a taco salad and he reported it being delicious. Nice ambiance - very colorful, cozy place.The only side note Id write in is it’s not Spicy. Which is great for my son, I do prefer a little “kick” in my fajitas but it was still very flavorful without it. My dad ordered a side of hot sauce and he said that was very Spicy. So they’ve got the spicy if you want it.I keep a list on restaurants I like best on my phone and I am most definitely writing this one down. I live in Lansdale but I’d travel to Colmar just to eat here. I highly recommend if you’re looking for some good Mexican.“

“Hands down the most authentic Mexican spot around. I love the beef tacos, but I’ve had them all and they are all delicious. Fresh chips and salsa, even the homemade hibiscus tea when it’s available. “AH-MA-ZING Mexican food. Started off with the Guac and chips, and it was magnificent. I ordered the Pollo Mignon on the recommendation of our waiter (who was awesome and said it was his favorite dish) and I was blown away with the flavors. It is a Boneless chicken breast, bacon wrapped, melted chihuahua, Served atop a smoky chorizo-chipotle sauce. Served with rice and refried black beans. My date and I each ordered margaritas and they were not only delicious but the presentation was very nice when the drinks arrived. If you like authentic Mexican food, go here. I bet you go back! I recommend making a reservation just to be safe.Parking: You can park in the lot across the street. I did after business hours and did not have any issues.“

“We were planning to go to another place but it was so crowded that I did a quick Yelp search of Quinoa (thank you Yelp), and we ended up in this cozy, brightly decorated, friendly spot! Servers were sweet and we really enjoyed our meals. We both had lunch bowls. I had the aji de gallina - white rice, lettuce, and chicken in a yellow Peruvian sauce. My husband had the lomo saltado - a skirt steak rice bowl. Both were delicious and big enough portions for us take home for an additional meal each. Affordable meals and BYOB. Complementary chips and pico de gallo for the table to start. We drive about 30 minutes from PA to have lunch here every month or so. Why? The taco salad would seem to be an easy thing to make well, but that has not been my experience in many other places. The portion is sufficient and the price is a good value. My wife has had multiple items and always happy with the item. The wet Texas burrito with chicken for her was great. The flan to end the meal is tasty and reasonable. Hard to find two entrees, dessert and a soda for just under $40. Ample seating inside and outside seating when it is nice weather. Give the place a try.“
