Overall lunch was disappointing for Arugula but fair overall. I had a panini which was ok, a 3, the amount of chicken and provolone was fine, spinach was lite, virtually no hot peppers which was disappointing. Then I asked to sub the fries and they charged me $4 for 3 little pieces of broccoli, and 3 thin carrot slices but no offset vs. fries. Disappointing. Service never came back. Usually great dinners but sooooo disappointing for lunch.
My husband & I have not been to this restaurant in almost 7 years. Long gone is the soft music, white tablecloths, & candlelight. Today the restaurant is filled with the screams of toddlers, bare tables with coffee house chairs, and overhead lighting. The service was the best part of this visit. The food was average, not as flavorful as days past. We left knowing we could prepare a better meal at home for far less money.
I came to this restaurant because of a friend’s recommendation, and it exceeded all my expectations. The food was flawless, and Tony was hands down the best waiter I’ve ever met. I already told my friends that I want to come back again. I highly recommend this place to everyone!
