“We had such a great experience at Murph’s Hideaway! The food was absolutely incredible, especially the beef stew, which was seriously out of this world! One of the best I’ve had. Our waitress, Sam, was so sweet, friendly, and welcoming. She really made our experience even better. The atmosphere was great, the service was excellent, and everything exceeded our expectations. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area! Highly recommend!“

“Our server was Sabrina, SO sweet and amazing service. The food was fresh, delicious, came smoothly!! They also gave a cake for my mom’s birthday and it was actually one of the best cakes I’ve ever had. The atmosphere was so friendly, beautiful. Amazing restaurant!!!“

“Quiet place where you can have a conversation without competing with background music. Scenic views. Service was fantastic and the food was so delicious. Our waitress was kind, very help and wonderfully attentive. We started with a small hot out of the oven baguette. We chose the coconut shrimp and shrimp scampi appetizers which were so tasty. We had a Caesar salad also very good. Our entree was the Chicken Fricassee. The chicken was moist topped with a wonderful white sauce and shavings of Parmesan. It was terrific. The prices were slightly higher, but so worth the quality of food and service we received.“

“We enjoyed plenty of mac and cheese, including options with hot dogs, buffalo, and loaded toppings. All were delicious and cheesy as described. Service was satisfactory, though it seemed I was a bother to the front desk staff while her friend was visiting.“

“Very cozy meal at the Tavern with the kiddos. So many smiles during dinner, brought on by great service and delicious food. We did a few apps to share: tempura shrimp with a pickled slaw, spring rolls and a cup of chili and French onion soup. The younger kids thought their menu had some great options and the rest of us were all over the map: grilled chicken salad, chilled soba noodles and a pub burger with sweet potato waffle fries. Their menu changes often to reflect the seasonality of ingredients, and I didn't snap a pic of their most recent menu, so food descriptions are generalized. We had a very relaxing time by the fire, and it was a perfect low-key evening to break up a busy holiday weekend.“

“I had an amazing experience with the food at Penn Forest Fire Company 2 and I can honestly say it deserves five stars. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. You can really tell they put care and effort into every dish they serve. The portions were generous and definitely worth it. The atmosphere was welcoming and made the whole experience even better. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel right at home while enjoying great food. It was so good that I’m planning to come back as much as I can before I move! Also the trucks look so nice and i love them!“

“We went to Piggy's for breakfast today 7/9/2022, it was very busy when we arrived and we had a 15 minute wait. It turns out it was well worth the wait, breakfast was served quickly and was excellent. They have a batter for pancakes and waffles which was the best I have ever tasted. I can only suggest that if you are in the Poconos you must give Piggy's a visit.“

“My husband and I started going to Nick's Lake House decades ago. At that time there used to be bands playing on the weekends. Now I go with my son and his family and I love Nick's just as much as I always did - in fact even more!! ❤️?“

“we didn't catch the bouncers name. But our server Linda and the bouncer were the best ever! They checked on our bach party all night, and were there for anything we needed! Even when things got rowdy. Give them a raise!“
