“This place is the best, tasty food with some really good and probably homemade hamburgers and mashed potato’s. They also have to options going to either the bar or the normal area Whitch is really cool. The staff are also so nice and we’re accommodating for my allergies. Just know it’s super expensive and a family of 4 would have to pay about 80$, but it’s worth it!!!Dietary restrictions: I have allergies and the staff were really nice and made sure my food was ok“

“Enjoyed a quick breakfast there before we left to get back home to Ontario. We tried their new strawberry items; croissant French toast, cheesecake stuffed pancakes and the strawberry crispers. Food was decent. Service was decent. Restaurant itself could use a facelift or upgrade. Overall a good experience and we will return when we go back to the Kalahari waterpark in the Poconos! ?“

“BEST place to get a cheesesteak on the mountain (in my opinion)! Not only is Sherry an absolute pleasure to talk to but the food DOES NOT disappoint. My kids love the funnel fries and cheesy bacon ranch fries. The chili cheese fries are a definite go to. I get a cheesesteak loaded (mushrooms, onions and sweet and hot peppers) with mayo and ketchup. Boy is it LOADED and.....OUT OF THIS WORLD. Thank you, Sherry and your crew, for great food!!!!Just a note.....cash only.“

“I was looking for a kid friendly restaurant that had options for everyone. I wanted to avoid the resort (Kalahari) restaurant high prices and rush in and out of crowds going and coming. Well this place didn’t disappoint we came 1hr before closing and thought we would be rushed but that’s far from the case. Our server Sara was great and had an easy going vibe to her. I asked for suggestion on popular item to eat and I was recommended the supper sandwich and this didn’t disappoint. All the food was great and service as well. When I come back to PA I will definitely stop in again. Also, give the French onion soup a try. It was good and I’m not a soup person and really liked it.“

“Ended Up here on St. Patrick’s Day as the other place we chose to go to was not welcoming. Timbers was extremely welcoming in every way with the staff, crowd, music and especially the owner dressed up in his St. Patrick’s Day gear. Great food and great environment. Definitely be back!“

Liam will ensure your meal is perfect; and Rob will make you laugh!“

“This place is by far the absolute best restaurant in the Poconos. I’m not into large portions because they usually lack in quality. This place has both. Very generous portions & top quality very fresh. We dine in Philly a lot. We now prefer to drive up to the Poconos because this place is that good. This place is much better than many big name restaurants in Philly.“

“I ordered breakfast over the phone on a Tuesday. The staff was very friendly, from the woman who took my order to the greeter at the door. The place was clean and quiet. Older Caucasians seems like the main demographic. The food was absolutely delicious! I had silver dollar pancakes, eggs, hash browns & a turkey sausage patty. I will definitely be re-visiting.Parking: Huge parking lot on restaurant propertyWheelchair accessibility: Ramp into entrance“

“Burke's Tavern was friendly, pleasant and quiet for a mid afternoon stop. Largest bar I think I've ever seen. I enjoyed the chats with employees, customers and the wine was tasty Look forward to visiting again . A very clean tavern.“
“I have been coming here since I was a kid in the 80's. You do have to be a member to come here, but its ALWAYS pristine, and they have a tiki bar on the sand, and a couple of different food options here. Lake Naomi Club Beach is always amazing.“

“My fiance and I had Cheese burgers and fries, they were good. The waitress was on her game. Atmosphere was nice. I really wanted the chicken Marsala but the waitress said they don't serve that till 4:00pm and it was 3:00pm. Then later at the next table another waitress said the whole menu can be ordered for lunch or dinner The seating is extremely uncomfortable. And it was cold in there. When you go out to dinner you want to be comfortable. We would have stayed longer if it was warmer and the chairs weren't hard as a rock. I get the rustic theme but still can make it more comfortable. I would suggest some pads for the chairs.“

“We had plans to cook breakfast at our cabin the 4 days we were lodging near Piggy's, we stopped in at Piggy's to wait to be able to check in to our cabin, the food and service was so great we returned twice more on our trip, there were so many options to try we all ordered something different and shared, the owner came out and talked to us and let us know about different activities near us and our server every time was Rose, who was a complete sweet heart. We will be sure to return to Piggy's next year when we return to the Poconos!!“
“Their food is first rate. The ?️ dinners on Friday nights are the best deal in the free world ?? today. If one wants ?? potent potables, then one needs to be a member. However, a current member may sign one in up to three times. After that, one should join. The money goes for equipment, training of firefighters, etc. It's a win, win situation. Monday is ? wing night, build a burger, build a cheese steak ? night, etc. It's the best bar menu and the best selection, with fantastic bartenders and kitchen folks "out the mountain ?️". The ?? Firehouse Grill is, bar none, the best place to go in all of Penn Forest Township. Penn Forest Township is now the largest political jurisdiction in Carbon County in both area and population.“

“This is our local breakfast spot, the food is good with a lot of choices. The German pancakes are superb. We have been here many times for breakfast and lunch and it never disappoints. The staff are friendly and efficient, the layout/decor is your standard cafe/diner, no frills but perfectly adequate.Kid-friendliness: We take our 10yo and 7yo here a bunch, most of the staff are family people and good with kids.Wheelchair accessibility: Has a ramp up to doors and wide door access.“
