“We have been eating here for a while now. The servers are very polite and super accommodating (especially for little ones). The food is constantly great both breakfast and lunch. I have never had anything I didn’t like. This is definitely our go to spot when we are near by.“

I will definitely go back to sample more food and drinks. The place was clean and the music was enjoyable and not too loud so you could carry on a conversation without yelling. “We first heard of Chef Von through Next Level Chef. We stopped today as we passed through Scranton. We had the new hangover smash burger which was off the charts. Everyone was super friendly, food was amazing and we even got to briefly met Chef Von. Highly recommended. Get there before he wins next level and you won’t be able to get a seat.“

“Haven’t been inside to dine since my husband passed away. I was there with my son and his girlfriend for my birthday lunch. The fries were awesome, but the gravy cheese fries were out of this world delicious. I had the Rock107 burger and it was delicious. My son had the chicken quesadilla, but wasn’t thrilled with them. She had the wing bites and stated they were really good. We sat in the booth where the Big Barrel of root beer use to be. Brought back so many memories of past visits. Will definitely be back to our little diamond in the rough restaurant!“

“We visited for our third time on Valentine’s Day and had a phenomenal experience as always. I thought with the holiday we might feel rushed but the pace of the meal was great. It was plenty of time to get your fill of delicious food. My husband enjoyed all the meats offered. I ordered off the menu and my meal was delicious. I also ordered one of their signature drinks with the lime and it was amazing! All of the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. We will definitely back.“

“We stopped in about 7:30 for dinner and it was fabulous. The service was excellent despite the lateish hour and the food was fantastic. We had pumpkin ravioli to die for as an appetizer and I had chicken parm that was so tender and flavorful. My side of vodka linguini is a new favorite! So good! Hubby's chicken strips and penne was also great. I also recommend their strawberry salad. Always a great place to eat!“

What people call the “dated” places are so often some the best food places in the area. It’s a hidden treasure in Scranton.“

“Stopped off the highway on the way home from a road trip. The S.O. was born in the area and his uncle is friends with the owner and his cousin had worked there growing up, so we wanted to give the support. Great little unassuming spot. Grabbed seats at the bar. Drinks were perfect. Had the cappelletti to start-cant find those in central NY so that was a special treat. Tuna melt special for me hit the spot. If only we lived closer, this would be a regular spot for us.“

“The service here can't be beat. Once they refused to charge us because our meal took too long. (so we just tipped the amt of the meal lol). Once we arrived not knowing they were closing early and they let us come in and insisted on us not rushing. The specials are always interesting and their corned beef hash is one of the best I've had. “Sandwiches so good we went two days in a row! The clerks at the counter were very helpful in making suggestions for us on our first visit. My daughter and I followed the recommendation and shared the steak & cheese hoagie and were not disappointed! My son-in-law had a tasty chicken parmesan hoagie. Went back the next day to try the sausage & peppers and roast beef hoagies, while my son-in-law did a repeat of the chicken parm. All were excellent and were a great value! Will have to be a go-to spot when I’m in town!“

“The first time I saw this place, I thought it was a private club. Stopped by one day and it turned out to be a great place to eat and drink. Food is great and lots to choose from. Drinks specials and food special weekly. Service is good and it will get busy, they do their best to provide the best service.“

“We have just discovered this place and have went twice so far. The outside dining is absolute vibes and great atmosphere. The staff including bus girl were all great except our waitress. We had Linda both times we went there and the first time she was rude and was rushing and I thought maybe she was just having a bad day but we just had her again yesterday and she had the same attitude. She was looking at my husband and asking him questions that pertained to my order cause I guess I can’t answer for myself. I was given a rude reaction because I asked if I can have my soup and salad come out at the same time cause I wanted them both as my entree and that was crossing the line I suppose. She rushed through taking our order and made mistakes to both mine and my husbands food. It is just a shame because it’s a great place and has great food but I guess next time I make a reservation I will ask to sit wherever she will not be our waitress. Other than that, I highly recommend.“
