The High Bridge House Reviews
Weekday specials were priced low. Plenty of food.
Beautiful place, this visit, the food just wasn't on par. We had the shrimp scampi for one of our dishes and just not what we were used to I guess as a scampi. It was more so a served in a flavorless gravy. My husband had about 3-4 bites then let the server take it away and finished the dinner bread. Maybe we hit it on a bad night. Our calimari, soup, and Reuben were all great. I just felt bad my husband couldn't enjoy his dinner.
Well...let me tell you about the Branzino! Crispy skin, loads of garlic and cooked with butter making it succulent, flavorful but not overpowering so you could taste the beautiful Branzino. Mashed potatoes were a tad salty, carrots excellent and spinach perfect. That meal was not a disappointment! We will be back!
