My wife had the lobster tails, I had the Mandarin glazed Salmon. This was our third visit. We are consistently impressed with service, timing of each course and taste. Great soups, great red beet salad. Even better entres. The building is dated, but well kept. Most of the employees have long tenure. The chef stopped by our table to check on us, really nice guy. We decided we should keep this spot for our date nights. Price maybe high? But I was glad to pay it and left a good tip, because the server deserved it.“

“Beautiful place, this visit, the food just wasn't on par. We had the shrimp scampi for one of our dishes and just not what we were used to I guess as a scampi. It was more so a served in a flavorless gravy. My husband had about 3-4 bites then let the server take it away and finished the dinner bread. Maybe we hit it on a bad night. Our calimari, soup, and Reuben were all great. I just felt bad my husband couldn't enjoy his dinner.“

“My wife and I are new to the area and wanted to try a new restaurant. I went online and saw that there was a country style diner complete with homemade desserts and huge portions. I had the Barell Burger and my wife had the Blue Burger. First off, you are really taken in by all the great decor in the restaurant. This place reminds me of Country Junction in Lehighton how they have it decorated. The coffee mugs are huge! We had dana and Carly as our servers and when I tell you these two are hands down the happiest waitresses I've ever had wait on us. You really can tell that they love thier customers. We will be back on Sunday for breakfast. Great place.“

You will rarely see your coffee cup drop more than a quarter of the way down before a smiling server is there with a refill. Even if you're a heavy coffee guzzler, they'll practically be standing by, pot in hand, waiting for eye contact the second the mug leaves your face. They are that good! They make a genuine effort to get to know you and make you feel right at home the moment you walk through the door. If you’re looking for that warm, small-town feel—and that extra welcoming touch you can't quite put into words—Rich’s is the place.

The food completely speaks for itself. I haven't had a bad meal here yet. They offer a ton of great specials on the weekends, and you absolutely must try their gumbo. It’s a legendary staple within those four walls.

As for the prices, they are exactly what you'd expect nowadays. They aren't overly expensive, but they aren't cheap either—they sit right in that perfect sweet spot that allows a family to enjoy a Saturday morning breakfast ritual without breaking the bank.

We had Haggerty's wings for the first time yesterday and they were hands down the best wings I've ever had. They were perfectly cooked crispy wings and delicious sauce, perfect blue cheese and crunchy (not wilted) celery! They won us over and we will definitely be back for some hot wings! (Also their other apps were excellent!) They staff was pleasant the atmosphere is so inviting! Can't wait to come again for a beer and wings!“

“We were introduced to a tasting of The Cashew Lounge on a wine train event we attended in Carbondale this past Fall. We have been wanting to get to the actual restaurant since then and decided it was a nice sunny Sunday why not take a ride today as we live about 40 minutes away. So glad we did, it was so worth the trip. The food was top notch, the service was fabulous! Everyone was attentive and knowledgeable and some of the friendliest staff we have ever encountered in a restaurant. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable and clean! The food from appetizer to dessert was A+. We had the Buffalo Chicken Empanadas as an appetizer, homemade and sooo good!. I had the Gnocchi in Vodka Sauce as my entree and it came with choice of soup , I chose the Tomato Basil. Wow, no words , both were wonderful. My husband also chose the Tomato Basil soup and as his Entree chose the Chicken Parmesan over pasta which had a nice twist, it was served with Vodka Sauce instead of the usual red sause. He thought it was delicious! If you leave here hungry that's definitely on you, the portions are huge and we both brought home leftovers. We couldn't resist the Creme Brulee Donut dessert special OMG!! As a side note I never know what kind of cocktail I want order, so I simply said, surprise me with something sweet and fun! They sure did deliver , a chocolate covered strawberry martini , it was so yummy. Thanks for being so playful with my request, most places just kind of give me a look , lol. We even got to chat with the owner, such a nice guy! Thanks for a wonderful first experience, we will definitely be putting The Cashew Lounge on our restaurant rotation!!! Kim, the manager is very polite and checks to see if the customer enjoyed their time while dinning at the restaurant. Kim makes sure to ask how the food came out to the customers in the restaurant.“
