“Been wanting to go here for a year and finally made it out. Food was great and the family enjoyed all there plates. Service was good. Place is small maybe 6 tables plus the bar. They do have outdoor seating as well but we went in the winter. Atmosphere was nice matched the vibes. I would definitely go back for for great seafood.“
“I’ve only dined at Camelot and it’s truly a hidden gem in the Abingtons. The food is spectacular, service is fantastic and everything from their wonderful fish and chips to their weekend specials are amazing. The atmosphere is cozy, from booths to tables; a beautiful fireplace for chilly nights. And when the weather cooperates, a beautiful patio to dine Al fresco. The prices are on point and you truly can’t go wrong with anything on Camelot’s substantial menu.Food & drinks: See above review, I’ve never stayed in a room, just enjoyed the food.“
“This is a quintessential sports bar. They have tons of TVs. They give you free popcorn. I had the tenders dinner and everything was good. I also tried their Tully's brand IPA and light beers which were served on nitro and they were good. All at reasonable prices. I would definitely go back.“
“Just stopped on our way home from the eclipse and Cheryl and Connor?(Guy cooking food)are killing it! Super busy and Cheryl was the only one here (aside from cook) and the two of them were doing an outstanding job at keeping up with the flow! Excellent excellent excellent.“
“Just 1 of Clark's Summit's Great little restaurant. Dinner will Spoil you. But my favorite is their Breakfast. Actually more like Brunch , my family and I really look forward to eating there when we're in town. The Chef definitely will tickle Your taste buds with her/his way of cooking.“
“There’s a reason Dinos has been around for nearly 5 decades. Their pizza is the best. Thin, Neapolitan style foldable crust with fresh tomato sauce that is neutral in taste, not too sweet, topped with flavorful mozzarella cheese.Parking: Parking is available in front of the establishment, handicap parking is available in the first row.Kid-friendliness: They offer all American foods like pizza and chicken.Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance is flat with no stairs.“
“I've never had a bad experience here! Tried the Cooper burger, very good with a fried pickle, there was a little horseradish dancing around on there, their fries are good too! Our waitress Ariel was really on point too, I would 100% recommend The Nyx.“
“Had an amazing experience at Anthony's! My family of 5 came in today on a roadtrip from Florida to Vermont and got a large variety of foods. I got breakfast, but the table also got burgers, pizza, and even wings! Speaking of which, the wings were possibly the best wings my family has ever had, and it's a shame we don't live in the area to have them more often. The pancakes had a homecooked taste to them and the chocolate chips were simply decadent. It's a family owned restaurant, so the food took a bit, but it was well worth the wait. Thank you for an amazing experience, we will definitely be repeat customers next time we are in town. :)“
“We first heard of Chef Von through Next Level Chef. We stopped today as we passed through Scranton. We had the new hangover smash burger which was off the charts. Everyone was super friendly, food was amazing and we even got to briefly met Chef Von. Highly recommended. Get there before he wins next level and you won’t be able to get a seat.“
“My clients wanted lunch from this location, so we decided to get it. The order was called in. I got the french bread pizza for myself. When I arrived, I parked in the private lot. I walked into a small, cute restaurant. I was greeted and the food was ready so I paid and left. When I dug in, surprisingly, the french bread pizza was a decent size for the low price. I dug in, and it wasn't bad at all. My clients like their food as well. All in all I had a good experience!“
“Here’s one of those very rare dining experiences where the restaurant gets everything right from the moment you arrive. The service, which was very prompt, polite, and helpful with suggestions, atmosphere, food and drinks, portions, and finally the check, which was extremely fair for all you get.I only wish it wasn’t a six hour drive to get to Scranton from Portland, Me.“
“I decided to give this place a try after reading some reviews and had a craving for a poke bowl. I went with rice, broccoli, brussell sprouts, chicken, and tuna poke. I really enjoyed the rice, broccoli, chicken, and poke, although the poke upcharge was pricey and the brussell sprouts were tougher than I expected. I got takeout, which was super convenient with online ordering and quick pickup service.“
“We were there for breakfast this morning! The breakfast wrap is delicious! My husband had the steak and mushroom eggs Benedict also delicious! My sister in law Margaret starting working there and we decided to try it! We were definitely not disappointed and we will be coming back! Honestly we didn't know it was there. So happy we do now! ❤️❤️“
“First time being there and everything was great. Between 3 of us we had brisket, burnt ends, pulled pork, and ribs, all of it cooked right and delicious ... Karen was our server and she was so friendly and on top of everything we needed. We will definitely go back when in the area. If you're looking for great BBQ, don't hesitate to try this place.“
“Super friendly staff. The restaurant itself was clean and thematic. The food was fine. I had the grilled octopus, fried cheese, and the gyro. I'd recommend them all. I've had better but it was a solid Greek restaurant. Definitely more than a diner.Kid-friendliness: We brought our daughter. They had a kids menu and the staff was friendly and accommodating.“
“Food is amazing! And service is constant. They serve only the finest meats. And it's in the way they cook them that sets them apart. In fact, it's really their forte. For meat eaters...$$$$Parking: There is a parking lot alongside of restaurant. So searching for a space is not an issue. Especially important if weather is inclement.“
“Service friendly and fast. Portions are huge for breakfast but unfortunately for pancakes they do not have real maple syrup just the generic one in the bottle. The eggs were a bit overcooked to my liking and potatoes needed more seasoning, prices are fair.“
“I used to go to Coney Island frequently until I moved out of state. I brought my family there to eat a while back, and we were not disappointed. The Texas wieners were as good as ever! Their sauce is the greatest thing ever cooked on a stove. I have lived in Texas for the past 25 years, and I haven't found a restaurant that even comes close to Coney Island wieners. They are a Scranton institution that you must visit! Go! Right now!!“
“Best place I've been to in Scranton!! The price is definitely worth it!!! They serve you A LOT! So just have that in mind. It'd be best if you have someone to share. The chilaquiles ARE spicy so beware. But man, they are good! The chicken and meat are absolutely perfect. Other places give you old meat where you can taste it has been sitting for a while. Not Yankee Taqueria. The eggs were fried to perfection. The muffin and bagel were toasted so beautifully. I'll try their technique when I get home. The Cecina in the platter was very juicy and tender. Rice was very fluffy. The burrito, I could barely finish half. IT IS STUFFED!! But as it is fat, it's delightful. Again, their meat tastes very good and fresh. I wish I had known of this place before. I'd definitely visit this place evert time I come to Scranton! The service and food is unbeatable. The owner and his family are very friendly and welcoming. You HAVE to try this place!!“
“We stopped in about 7:30 for dinner and it was fabulous. The service was excellent despite the lateish hour and the food was fantastic. We had pumpkin ravioli to die for as an appetizer and I had chicken parm that was so tender and flavorful. My side of vodka linguini is a new favorite! So good! Hubby's chicken strips and penne was also great. I also recommend their strawberry salad. Always a great place to eat!“
“Had a great dinner here after a basketball game at holy rosary. Those who got burgers enjoyed them and the house fries were delicious. Tater tots were very different from store bought and not a hit with kids (looked more like hush puppies). I sincerely appreciated that they had GF items labeled on the menu. The rice bun was very cool- felt like eating a sushi burger! Server was great! If I could give 4.5 I would!Dietary restrictions: Very GF friendly“
“One of the best burgers I’ve ever had in my life. The meat and cheese they used, whatever they did, they do it extremely well. Our waitress was super nice and it’s a cute little place. What people call the “dated” places are so often some the best food places in the area. It’s a hidden treasure in Scranton.“
“What a hidden gem! Going to Rich's is like taking a step back in time and feels so homey and cozy. I took a friend who was visiting from one of the biggest foodie cities in the US, and he still raves about how perfect and fluffy his pancakes were! I definitely recommend them. My breakfast burrito was excellent, too, and service was fantastic.“
“Stopped off the highway on the way home from a road trip. The S.O. was born in the area and his uncle is friends with the owner and his cousin had worked there growing up, so we wanted to give the support. Great little unassuming spot. Grabbed seats at the bar. Drinks were perfect. Had the cappelletti to start-cant find those in central NY so that was a special treat. Tuna melt special for me hit the spot. If only we lived closer, this would be a regular spot for us.“
“Great place for vegan comfort food. Any time I'm missing the taste and texture of a super cheesy quesedilla, this is where I go -- its close enough to the real thing to quench that craving. Hubby loves the Wild Wild West burger and we both LOVE the smashed potatoes. The smoothies/shakes are freaking delicious too.“
“Found this little gem when my husband was working in the area. I picked it based on the reviews and so glad I did. The place was hopping with customers and the bartenders did a fantastic job of keeping the drinks full. The owner helped us find a seat as soon as we walked in and the service from that point on was incredible! The young female bartender reminded me of myself in the “old days”. She had lots of energy to match the atmosphere and was speedy with your next beverage, served with a big smile. We each got wings and shared the garbage fries, which was all delicious!! Big crispy wings with crispy celery to match and they were not skimpy on the Bleu Cheese either.Hopefully our travels take us back this way because I’d love to visit again!!“
“The service here can't be beat. Once they refused to charge us because our meal took too long. (so we just tipped the amt of the meal lol). Once we arrived not knowing they were closing early and they let us come in and insisted on us not rushing. The specials are always interesting and their corned beef hash is one of the best I've had. We can't recommend it enough and we come here every time we are in town .Wheelchair accessibility: Back door“
“First time here after many recommendations. Had dinner with friends and luckily they arrived early and got a table, because when we arrived, there was quite a line/wait to be seated which I hear is normal. Excellent beer selection, and the meal was good. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back.“
“Cheers with breakfast food someone said. Um, yes 100%! While we just found you on Google while we waited for a car repair...it was truly a pleasure. Breakfast was plentiful, the omelet was great, pancakes were on point. ☕️ tasted perfect. Small, comfy, clean, and relaxing. The locals inside were kind to us and had a very positive banter back and forth with one another. Wish I lived closer!“
“Everything about Noir inside the Ritz theater in Scranton is top-notch and impressive. The food is amazing! The staff is warm, friendly, and helpful. The drinks are tasty and made with high-end alcohol. The atmosphere is unique and comfortable. We’ve already been there multiple times.“
“Cafe has the best method for getting takeout, very fast easy and straightforward. Menu is online and very easy to order and pick up every item is packaged perfectly for takeout. They have many options for each item so you can customize your food choices accordingly. Very easy to make selection, upgraded family meals. Very affordable prices. Food is also very delicious and well worth the trip to pickup.Vegetarian options: Menu is designed so a person can choose a vegetarian option for most items.Dietary restrictions: Gluten intolerance can have many options.Parking: Church parking lot that’s always open.Kid-friendliness: Options on menu have small portions for children.“
“Sandwiches so good we went two days in a row! The clerks at the counter were very helpful in making suggestions for us on our first visit. My daughter and I followed the recommendation and shared the steak & cheese hoagie and were not disappointed! My son-in-law had a tasty chicken parmesan hoagie. Went back the next day to try the sausage & peppers and roast beef hoagies, while my son-in-law did a repeat of the chicken parm. All were excellent and were a great value! Will have to be a go-to spot when I’m in town!“
“We had a nice night out when our friends invited us to the VSpot The staff was really friendly and made us feel right at home, which added to the atmosphere. The steak they served on steak night was absolutely delicious. The music lineup was great, the sound quality was top-notch, and the new stage setup was impressive, making the whole experience even better. Oh, and we also got to check out the release of a new song called "Violet" by a popular local artist named Ivy. Overall, it was an awesome night, and big props to everyone involved for making it so memorable!“
“Prompt and attentive service with reasonable pricing. I liked my chicken pot pie soup, but there was sugar in the pie crust, that was really, really weird. The chicken strips with butter and garlic and garlic bread were fantastic! No room for dessert and a takeout container to bring home.“
“This place is awesome! Very classic diner-esque corner spot with a breakfast bar. It’s a modest place with super friendly and personable staff. The prices are low and the food is great! My fiancée and I come for breakfast or order delivery multiple times a week. Their coffee is AMAZING and honestly never had a bad experience. Ally, Rob, and Chris are some of the nicest people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting! Will continue to enjoy our breakfast from this spot for many times to come.“
“The first time I saw this place, I thought it was a private club. Stopped by one day and it turned out to be a great place to eat and drink. Food is great and lots to choose from. Drinks specials and food special weekly. Service is good and it will get busy, they do their best to provide the best service.“
“I've lived around the corner for a year, but never tried their place 'til last night. Got a pizza for my upstairs neighbor and myself to split. It's unique, and for 5$, you can't beat it. She and I (mostly me) almost ate the whole 12 cuts too!“
“We ate at Keystone Restaurant and ordered the meatloaf from Mothers Kitchen. One of the best meals I’ve had here. The mashed potatoes and gravy was nice and creamy and the meatloaf was a big portion and had a great savory and sweet taste. The chef came out and even spoke with us, telling us other meals to try when we come back. I will definitely be back not only bc of the food bust bc of how nice he was to stop and talk with us.“
“A local sports establishment with tasty bar food and cold beverages at a fair price. Lots of televisions for all your sports watching needs. Jukebox playing some music when needed. Staff/bartender is very welcoming. Low key, friendly, and relaxed environment.“
“1st time ever being there, saw that a friend reviewed it and gave it a good rating, so I decided to give it a try, I order a Mac attack burger and fries, my son order 12 buffalo wings and they were big and juicy, gf order a cheese burger and fries, it seemed like they were frozen burger patties and not fresh but they were still cooked to perfection and not dry or burnt or hard. The environment was very cozy“
“Wings have always been the reason I visit McGrath's, so I have no other reference of other food choices.Wings are great. Owner is usually always there and makes the atmosphere very welcoming. The pictures were of the hot garlic, crispy!!“
“OK, I've been to Crotti's a few times now and they've never disappointed! They have an amazing bar chef that makes some of the best bar food you'll find in the area (I got a burger and the beef was so fresh and juicy), the drinks are great, and the atmosphere is prefect for the live performances they have! On the live performances note, they get, by far, some of the best groups around! I personally go there for their blues/funk performances and they're beyond incredible! I truly can't recommend Crotti's enough!“
“This is a good feel, classic American diner sort of place that I wish I tried earlier, and also now wish was open at hours I could enjoy on my work days.Went here for breakfast, a vegetable omelet with cheese, home fries with gravy on the side, sausage links and white toast. Don't think much other description is needed. Just a top notch breakfast, everything done to near perfection. Home fries were personally not quite where I'd like them, but my desire for crispy home fries isn't an absolute right way to cook them, just a preference is all. They were very soft while not soggy, held their shape, and were certainly tasty. Just like them crispy myself.Incredibly friendly staff, the most classic of American breakfast food done great, fantastic experience here.“
“Thank you to the nice guy that anonymously paid for my elderly parents’ dinner, you made their day. My parents follow a strict retirement budget, and their occasional treat is to go to the Texas Roadhouse. They love their steaks and overall food quality and service. They are always treated nice when visiting, and their trip there, today, was made even more memorable by the generosity of someone in the restaurant. Elderly are many times ignored and lonely, so it is nice to know that there are kindhearted people out there that take notice and make them feel special. God bless you. I will make sure to pay it forward on their behalf :-)“
“This is by far one of the prettiest places to dine in our area. The entire property is spotless, beautiful and perfectly appointed. The staff and owner could not have been nicer or more attentive. We had sausage, bacon, pastries, italian and turkey paninis, free-range chicken with herbs, au jus & dumplings, waffles with berries, grilled vegetables. herb roasted potatoes and fresh baked artisanal rolls. The food was exceptional. The waffles were the absolute best I have ever had in my entire life. We can't wait to go back!“
