“Great place! Stopped in with some friends to see a live band and had an absolute blast! Great service, fun crowd and a nice menu. French Onion soup was delicious and the smash burger was one of the best I had in a while. Food took a little while because of the big crowd, but our servers did let us know when we ordered which was cool. We would definitely go back for the fun atmosphere and try something else on the menu! They do have clams every day!!“
“We’ve passed by for years. Today I stopped in to get breakfast to go. I am so glad I did !!! Homemade Biscuit egg and ham(not lunch meat) was delicious. I do not believe that you can’t mess up breakfast, you absolutely can with low quality food. This place WAS NOT that. Loved it. It will be my go to when I’m driving though for the rest of the summer !!The server was welcoming and kind. Which is always helpful.CASH IS KING !!Thank you for keeping it REAL !“
“Came to town with a "semi" local and went camping. T.j. took us to Double Ds for Saturday morning for breakfast and all I can say isWOW!!!!Thank God it was my cheat day!! The portions were outrageous!!!Best cornbeef hash on the planet I can't even make it that good for myself.amd Ive been cooking for over 30 years.....Best home cooking I've had in a very very long time.Hopefully I'll visit again soon possibly next season.Thank you guys so much for a great meal.....and the fresh canister of coffee ☕️ ☕️YOU THE BEST, BETTER THAN THE REST!“
“Small diner in downtown Tunkhannock, street parking in front. I ordered scrapple the waitress said they make it on site, it was bland and could use some seasoning. The waitress said some customers ask for a little garlic to smear on it. $$“
“Food is amazing every time fom the apps, to the burgers to the kids selections. We had the gouda mac and cheese bites(amazing), Philly cheeseteak eggrolls(couldn't believe how great they were), kids mac and cheese with chicken bites(our 3 year old ate ALL the mac and cheese which RARELY happens) and an All American burger(not greasy like other places). Needless to say, just on those items, we were stuffed with some goodies to take home and snack on later. Twigs has been and always will be one of my favorite stops for the last 20+ years“
“I enjoyed my lunch. The restaurant was clean and very nicely decorated. The staff were friendly. I would like at least something else besides a salad for a vegan option. I went with the sunshine salad without the cheese. It was very fresh and delicious. The French fries were also delicious, yum! The side we ordered was on the small side though.“
“Food was good. Service was excellent. Place needs a little updating, butnot much. The booths were ripped, and a little out dated on the furnishings. Hands down the best coffee in Tunkhannock.Parking: I had to park in back of the Prince Hotel and walk over“
“Stopped in after a long day and just have to say Rebecca was absolutely amazing. She was quick on her feet and very friendly, she was on top of everything from the drink refills to all the little extras I asked for with my meal. As a server myself I have high expectations, and could not have asked for a better server. You guys are lucky to have a server as wonderful as Rebecca I will defiantly be back thanks to her.“
“It's a very nice place with plenty of workers so you're not sitting there waiting for anything. I had onion petals, the turkey and stuffing (dressing) meal and was stuffed but had to bring home a piece of carrot cake since it looked so good! It's pretty and there is a game at the table to play.“
“Visiting from out of town for a family funeral. They got 11 of us in with no reservation - at two tables - on a Saturday night. They took good care of us. Dinner and cocktails are "good" not great ... but if you're looking for a comfortable place to enjoy a nice meal with friends and family, this is the place to go. Would love to sit near the fireplace next time.“
“I love going to the Tioga Bistro when I'm back in town; I grew up here but we never had any cool little restaurants like this one downtown as a kid. Im in the area for work and made a special trip into town just to have lunch. Great food at a fair price. Today I had a large bowl of pumpkin soup.......amazing. Followed by my favorite Bus 22 sandwich, ham and apple butter. I took a salted Carmel brownie along for dessert. Service is always fast and friendly. The interior is a little dimly lit, so I have to wear my glasses to read the menu. On street parking out front. If you are traveling on either 29 or 6, plan to have lunch in Tunkhannock!“
