“I moved to the Long Pond area earlier this year and upon doing so I’ve tried a few different takeout restaurants but NOTHING compares to AJ’s food and customer service! “Got food to-go for Valentines Day. We went an hour before they closed and even though they were out of a lot of food, we have no complaints. We ordered what they had left and were not disappointed! The Chicken stew was delicious and the steak and onions were SO good. The empanadas were also out of this world. We've had leftovers for dinner the next night and it was even good reheated. Can't wait to go back!“

“Very cozy meal at the Tavern with the kiddos. So many smiles during dinner, brought on by great service and delicious food. We did a few apps to share: tempura shrimp with a pickled slaw, spring rolls and a cup of chili and French onion soup. The younger kids thought their menu had some great options and the rest of us were all over the map: grilled chicken salad, chilled soba noodles and a pub burger with sweet potato waffle fries. Their menu changes often to reflect the seasonality of ingredients, and I didn't snap a pic of their most recent menu, so food descriptions are generalized. We had a very relaxing time by the fire, and it was a perfect low-key evening to break up a busy holiday weekend.“

“Been going to pinewood over 30 years, I lived in arrow head, my mother lived there for 20 years and my sister still lives, super convenient for people who live in arrow head and surrounding area.
To have a quality deli five minutes away in this area is priceless, everything on the menu is off the hook good, it's a bit in the pricey side, but well worth it, not to mention the convenience of the location.
Highly recommended for breakfast lunch or dinner.

The Garlic knot is great and very garlicky indeed as should be with raw Garlic 🧄
I’ll dine here again when out here and in need of a slice or two.
Not forgetting all the pepper flakes and herb jars all filled to the top to add to your slices if needed.
They also have beers 🍻 and different juices and soda at cold to enjoy of your choice with your meal.“
