“Whether you are heading to the Crossings in Scotrun, PA, the Mt Airy Casino, Great Wolf Lodge, working near or traveling through, Nick’s is a must stop! A great business model with a true sense of running a successful business while serving awesome sandwiches, soups, breakfast 8 am, using fresh ingredients and a kitchen staff eager to prepare great food. One cheesesteak, sauce on side, on a fresh semolina roll, substantial meat, cheesy with nice flavors. The Italian sub, piled high with select Boars Head meats on same seeded roll was so big, it satisfied my hearty appetite. The chili and crab soup were totally delicious, well seasoned and hearty. At $6.99 for 12 ounces (bowl), they both satisfied us as an appetizer or lunch. The soups change daily! It was a delight talking to the owner who takes much pride in the 7 month old deli. I’m happy they landed in this part of the Poconos for residents and travelers to enjoy! We’ll definitely return to try the pizza and a pork Etta sandwich. Open every day but Sunday.“

“I moved to the Long Pond area earlier this year and upon doing so I’ve tried a few different takeout restaurants but NOTHING compares to AJ’s food and customer service! From the pizza to the cheesesteak (phenomenal by the way), this place is in a league of their own! Hands down. Very kind staff as well. “Me and my family were visiting Great Wolf Lodge. With the horrible pricing on all the food there and our quite a big party (16 people including children) we looked for a local restaurant to support. We came upon this place as it was super close. We went in tonight and had the best service ever. All 16 of us were treated as family. The food was wonderful! The service was even better! The two cooks handled our huge party like the BOSSES they are. We will be back! P.S The Tony’s Cheesesteak with Mayo and the sauce on the side is to DIE for. 😋“

“We came here after getting recommendations from our Airbnb host. I have to say this place is amazing!!! For appetizers we had mozzarella sticks, garlic knots, fried calamari, and buffalo wings, all of which were great! For main courses we had pizza, penne vodka with grilled chicken, penne vodka with grilled chicken and shrimp, spaghetti and meatballs, and shrimp and scallop linguine in white sauce. The portions were VERY GENEROUS! The food was DIVINE! My son decided to add a pepperoni calzone to the order and when asked if he wanted a small or large, he went with a large. To our surprise, this monster of a calzone came out to him! It was delicious and definitely different from Brooklyn. The staff was very nice and we really hope to stop by again before our trip ends!“

The Garlic knot is great and very garlicky indeed as should be with raw Garlic 🧄
I’ll dine here again when out here and in need of a slice or two.
Not forgetting all the pepper flakes and herb jars all filled to the top to add to your slices if needed.
They also have beers 🍻 and different juices and soda at cold to enjoy of your choice with your meal.“

I will say plan ahead on weekend nights and Fridays cause they do get super packed and you will be waiting a long time for your delivery order. I had no problem with my time as I already knew it was going to be busy when I ordered.
