I wanted to like this place, and I think it's probably good. But something went wrong tonight.
We waiting over 30 minutes for our food and when it arrived it was clear it was sitting under the heat lamps for a long time.
The food wasn't fresh. The guacamole had a brown skin on it, even the sour cream was warm...
Fajitas with no sizzle, dry rice, dry refried beans
I would have told my server but he was also MIA. Our drinks ran dry, we waited another 20 minutes before asking our busser for the check.
Based on our food experiences elsewhere in Kalahari I have to imagine this place can be really good, but not for us tonight.

Tried Cinco Nino’s and wasn’t impressed to be honest. The Michelada was decent but missing some of the listed ingredients that it was supposed to come with it. Had the chimichanga, which is supposed to be fried but wasn’t. The rice and beans inside were undercooked as well as the refried bean side. The chicken was dry and stringy. Ended up tossing it when I got back to the hotel room after 5 minutes of attempting to eat it. No bueno.

Delicious! Kalahari is definitely making great improvements. The resort has great restaurants and entertainment besides the water park. I tried Cinco Nino and everything was great. I ordered the chips and guacamole and also queso and wow it was so good. The quesadillas also didn't disappoint. Service was great and the atmosphere was great also.

Steve was amazing our kids said he was so nice! We enjoyed the whole experience!
Our server was Adam. He ran his tail off. I have not met a server as good as him in many years. Other servers were casually walking around and this guy was literally running around to take care of his people. The food was just as good as the service. It was actually better than our hometown Latino restaurants which says a great deal! Thanks Adam if you ever read this!

Good food while you are at kalaharj. People at front desk were very nice . I had come here to get breakfast for 4 people . The host in the back was amazing and very accommodating. She immediately gave me boxes , silverware and assigned me a table where my son could wait while I got the food to go. Food was great with tonnes of breakfast options . They have borne fun and healthy options . I would come again. Impeccable service and food. Keep it up folks !

Our bartender was Steve M and he wasn't just personable. He was knowledgeable and helped a couple of 1st timers get acclimated. We enjoyed the experience so much we brought the children for dinner at Cinco Ninos.

We absolutely loved our time here. Uncle Steve was fantastic! Very attentive, answered all questions, and gave great guidance. All the food eaten today was delicious too. Tbh I was surprised because this is the second place in Kalahari we ate today and both were so delicious! I had the crunchy avocado tacos and they were refreshing. Hubby had a birria taco salad and it came out in a wonderful fried tortilla bowl. The salsa verde and basic salsa were seasoned deliciously! We eat at Mexican frequently, so we are quite picky. We will absolutely be back.
Vegetarian options: As with numerous other Mexican places, there’s always a safety for me as a vegetarian.
Kid-friendliness: Kid menu. Worked with the choices on the menu.
