“The breakfast is delicious!! I got the eggs, potatoes and hot sausage and the fried shrimp and grits. I felt like everything was good but the grits could have used more time. The potatoes were some of the best homefries I’ve had in a while. The flavor on the fried shrimp will be something to go back for alone! So glad I tried it out. I will be back. Normally go for the curry chicken and cabbage but now I can go earlier for breakfast too!“

“As someone who isn’t Jamaican or African and isn’t from the area, this cuisine wasn’t really my cup of tea personally, but there were definitely a few things I enjoyed. The jerk chicken and mac and cheese were really good, and the oxtails were good too. I wasn’t a huge fan of the rice or collard greens, but my cousin liked both, so it really just comes down to personal preference. The oxtail meal was $22 and came with rice and two sides, while the mini jerk chicken was $8 and came with rice. The portions are definitely worth the price, especially if you enjoy this type of cuisine. Overall, I can see why people who love these flavors would really enjoy this place.“

“Omg. I love this place! As y'all know I'm hooked on the red snapper. So fresh seasoned to perfection the perfect sauce light sweetness flavor on point and not too spicy. I was hesitant about a stew fish at first because I like my food cooked well but was able to order it well done and it's been my go to since. If you want chicken the jerk chicken is great and this is the only place i can eat all the beans and rice and cabbage . I also ordered Mac and cheese and that was good also . I ordered last minute and Ms.Tiny came through for me and cooked my order!.RED SNAPPER OF COURSE . and I also got a tuna salad..I didn't try my salad.yet

“OMG They have AWESOME Oxtail. I went to this Jamaican restaurant for lunch and I ordered macaroni and cheese and corn bread and I noticed they had oxtail on their menu and I told they lady who worked there that I never had oxtail and I was told by my family and friends that oxtail is so good so the the lady asked if I wanted to order a platter I said no because I already brought fried chicken and I just want the Mac and cheese and corn bread to eat with my chicken so she was kind enough to ask me if I wanted to sample the oxtail and I said yes she then hand me a small cup with oxtail and gravy. OMG that oxtail was tender and falling off the bone. It tasted like beef stew and the gravy was AWESOME so awesome that I was licking the gravy off my fingers. I will definitely be ordering a oxtail platter from this restaurant in the near future. 😋“

“I ate from here a couple of times, and I honestly enjoyed and loved the food. The rice with oxtails and the rice w goat and lamb was truly the best I ever had. I want them to reopen so badly cause people out here starving for this cuisine.... I.E. ME..... Seriously great service and atmosphere and definitely top notch food for a good price. “My Goodness!! I had the oxtail rasta pasta and my husband had the shrimp rasta pasta. First of all the greatness started with the host who took my order, she was so sweet and polite!! I asked could I have lite spice in my pasta, she connected me right to the chef and indeed he delivered okay!! Now the food itself; my goodness!! My oxtails are so tender and soft, the flavor was BEYOND amazing, peppers are slice nice and thin but still has a crisp ❤️❤️ the sauce has a lil sweetness to it and everything just blends together perfectly!! And let’s get in to the portion size, let’s just say it’s for today and tomorrow, lol. I so happy we found a new spot!!“

“They have some of the best Jamaican food in West Philly. Love their curry coat and curry chicken. Not a big fan of their mac and cheese but everything else has been good to me. I come here often and they give good portions every time! They do run out of plantains and beef patties early“

“I had curry chicken rice & peas, cabbage and plantains my food was great & I would get it again. My husband and mother in law had pepper steak rice & peas, cabbage the steak was so dry it was terrible very disappointing especially for the price. My daughter had stew chicken rice & peas, cabbage and it was just nasty she didn’t even eat it. I have always heard good things and finally decided to try it, it’s gonna be a NO for us. The guy that took my order was extremely nice. I made a mistake ordering, he told me no way, you’re gonna get your food how you want it & started over, no attitude or no hassle that was appreciated.“
