Russo's Pizzeria & Italian Restaurant

In a world of McDonald’s and Wawas, we found this gem while traveling cross country on the way to Maine. The selection here is incredibly varied, the aisles are tight and neat, deli food offers fresh cooked pizzas breads and a full salad bar (also a full olive bar). Frozen foods including hand rolled meatballs, and a huge confectionary selection. Cold drinks (bottled plastic or glass). The deli chef played peek a boo with my one year old and the cashier offered us to eat our deli purchase in their sit-in cafeteria that seats 50 and is CLEAN. My family and I were treated like family and the warmth of the staff exuded everywhere they went. Thank you, Russo!

Never will I ever order from this place again!! Veal parm should not be chopped up n they need to put more sauce on it so you can taste it!! 28.00 for 2 sm sandwiches???? Never again ! Worst pizzeria I ever ordered from!!

Clean and not a bad place for downtown Reading. Always a large selection of pizza slices. Hot and cold sandwiches with the freshest rolls anywhere in Berks County. Hot spaghetti, wings, french fries. I could eat here 3x a day.😁

Food was excellent and staff was great. We stayed there because it was the only place in the town open late. No complaints.

Great Italian subs

Pizza was actually very good, garlic knots were good also, place needs a facelift though. You cant get specials insides store to eat in which was a little disappointing, otherwise great pizza.

We needed a quick bite before a show at the nearby arena and decided to try this local restaurant. The most impressive part of our experience was the attention paid to us by our hostess! She was welcoming and pleasant, told us about the menu items, and even let me create my own signature burger ?. The food is freshly made and tasty. The fries were cooked perfectly, and the hamburgers were a good size. The bathroom was clean. We will definitely be back!
