Bars near Ridgway

“We were determined to find some authentic local food on our drive from Buffalo to Washington, DC. Glad we stopped here. Although it feels more like a bar than a restaurant, we were pretty happy overall with the food and service. Everyone was friendly and the burgers were good. There were a few locals from town having a drink at the bar. Not much else to do in this sleepy town, so we headed back to the car for the long drive home.“

“I, a long-time southerner, tried to drive from Bradford to VA on a very snowy day in my little Honda Civic. To no one's surprise but my own, I had to stop and eventually the road closed! Luckily, I found the warm bar of Summit Lodge and Grill. I booked a room for the night and got some food from the bar to go and huddled on the bed and had a mini vacation. The sandwich as great (and I heard the brisket is amazing!) and the room was so large, warm, and had a great shower! And unexpected treat on a really stressful day.“

“Delicious! And great atmosphere! I wish we had the kids with us. They would have been entertained with the train, coloring books and games. The coconut shrimp with pina colada dipping sauce is a must have. Also loved their take on fries. Reasonably priced and staff was great. We will be going back the next time we go through Ridgeway.“

“Wait a minute..... 5stars? They made me a hamburger and it wasn't exactly extraordinary the place was filled with smoke....lol. I drive a tractor trailer and ran out of time in Ridgeway Pa. A few months ago. I parked down near the river and hiked to the nearest place I could find. It was late the kitchen was already closed. The bartender saw the hunger in my eyes and offered to make a burger. The locals communed with me like I had lived there my whole life. There was a buzz in the crowd in anticipation of some kind of chain saw art festival or lumber jacking, idk. There was friendly wagering on trivia questions informally presented by one of the regular patrons. Lots of laughter and a warmth, well beyond what truck drivers normally experience. Thank you Culleys! Made my day.Honestly I didn't see a menu. And it didn't look like they served a lot of dinners. But the place really felt good, and I was hungry. They accommodated me without reservation.... Great experience.“

“I don't go here often because it's crazy small and my anxiety sky rockets, but the wings, chicken salad and French fries are really good here! Sorry I don't have much more to say. That's all I normally get there the staff is very nice as well. Never rude! I think it's really cool they have so many signs with quotes on them and home decor you can buy as well! Along with sweatshirts and t-shirts!“

“First time here yesterday evening and we were very happy that we were told about the Damn Inn.Got the Jalapeño bacon burger and Steak hoagie. The food was fantastic! The atmosphere was very comfy as well.The waitress was awesome and did an awesome job.I would highly recommend stopping by here. We will absolutely return when back near that area.“
